Yes but the WRX's at the come and try day were boring in comparison :D The R34 did a few 4 wheel drifts during practice, but was driving very sedately for the comp. Quick though.

Oh you all should have been at the motorkhana (was it last weekend? My timeline is all warped). We had a few WRX's (of which at least one was constantly pulling 4 wheel drifts), we had an R34 GTR, and we had an Evo8!!! FUN

Don't know anything about hilux discs and corona calipers. Can you verify what sort of discs they are? You can get the measurements from the DBA website.

Have never heard of Volvo calipers over Hilux discs (have heard similar for back brakes though), I have Landcruiser (like Hilux) calipers over peugeot discs on my car. It's not a hard conversion to do, just require a bit of machining work to get stuff to bolt together.

Well, looks like the khanacross for the ICC is going to be on the 3rd April (dammit, looks like I might not be able to do it :D ), no idea what else has changed? Anyone else know?

You'd be looking at at least $1000, and it just goes upwards from there. Obviously the more you pay the nicer/better the cage.

Rollcages, legal if you have removable side impact bars (and you're meant to remove them when you drive on the road). They have to be blue plated. Seats, legal if you get ADR approved ones. If you modify the rails to fit (drill holes, weld, cut etc) which you'll most likely have to do, then you have to get it blue plated. Use 3mm steel and high tensile grade 8.8 bolts if you make an adaptor plate to match the seats and you shouldn't have a problem with engineering. Harnesses, legal as long as you also have a standard ADR approved retractable belt, and you're also supposed to wear that when you drive on the street.
