  2. heya Ben, yeah he has some amazing cars out there. i don't want to steal Brendan's thunder as he was/is putting a thread up about him, and this guy deserves much credit. he is truly a wizard but yeah here are a cple of his others 273ci mopar v8 in a sleeper galant? secksee..! always loved the Bug eyes..! anyone remember Jeff Watson and his FJ20DET powered 9sec car at willowbank? used to give Victor Bray a run for his money back in the day.
  3. hey Reed, it wasnt really for sale, TBH. he was planning to race it, N.C. class. i jsut posed the question, and he said "i spose everything is for sale, for a price" so i threw him a price, rest is history, lol and the other one isnt delivered yet, couldnt fit both on the tilt tray. gotta go thru them, and see whats salvageable. i don't really want to strip the white one if i can avoid it. even tho she's a 'roughy'
  4. i was out visiting Brendan at Warwick, and checking out his coupe, and he just mentions that his mate and all round wizard who lives nearby, has this sexy 68 rolla. i asked to have a look, i creamed, raced home, literally no sleep, called in all my markers, sold everything i have, to get her. got dropped off tonite i owe you, Brendan. ..! you are the man, mate. i owe you a ride for sure, and then some..!
  5. haha dammn you..! yeah mate. I'm creaming..... here, one is up. I'm download capped, so they are slow as.. 3k, toyoglide. spare doors/windows/windscreens and rubbers(still in sealed plastic bags) in the boot was a box of spare tal lights, more chrome, badges, gold toyoglide and corolla badges among them. no tears in the interior. no real rust, apart from surface, and a tiny bubble in the boot. was in a shed for 8 years. last registered in 2004. all the wheel trims are there too, just ran out of time and day light to do anymore to her
  6. yeah, mate. without posting spoilers without the pics, 'they are both' 2 doors :-) so bloody excited..!

  12. love that pic mate. would love a high res scan of it, if you could? i took a pic of the one on Andy's wall while there the other day. might put her in this thread, too sorry if it hijacks the thread, but i figure it might be cool if they were in same place?
  13. lol, Reed..! and cheers guys..! still not sold on which way to go. will get the coupe home, then make a decision :-) where are these x members for 300 Carlos? sounds like a steal
  14. the pano doesnt run out of rego for a few weeks so I'm still keen. either this weekend or then ext few, if we need time for numbers. not many seem keen? :-(
  15. so, I'm hoping to have certain member's '35 soon, with the plans of either it or my pano to go in the shed, for my ground up rebuild, doing properly, like a lot of the secksee beasts, on our site here. which one you think? the '35 would be clean, like chesti's, with a rotor, methinks. pano would be clean, like crowie's, sorta, with a SC5K or even a rotor.. NFI.. the pano runs out of rego soon, so i eitehr renew it and use it like i have been, or de rego it and shed her, ground up rebuild.. suggestions on which or even engine choice, appreciated. want ease of install RE engine swap too :-)
  16. LOL
  17. this is the same car in the for sale thread by simon. we looked into it, and for allied pickfords to truck it up, was going to cost 1980 dollars..! i then looked into taking a box down and fitting her to it, then driving her home. congrats on whoever got her..!
  18. they come up a treat, mate..!
  19. one of the main differences between them, is the choke setup from memory? plus the venturi size on the dcnva were both 36 and opened at the same time, unlike the others, that have a smaller primary, and a slightly larger secondary circuit. meaning, that you are opening both throats at the same time with the dcnva. correct me if I'm wrong guys? i personally don't like them and would suggest you wait for a 32/36 to pop up for sale, with an adapter plate, for about the same price, on here mate. i'd honestly say it wont be brand new either, at best re manufactured, or reconditioned edit if you must stay with this one, http://www.matraclub...res/dcnva16.htm is a nice setup/tune up guide hope this helps, mate 36 dcnva, generally run as pairs 32/36 dgva weber, common for parts, easy to tune, reasonably cheap
  20. warning language..! i want one..!
  21. heya Brendo, last time we left at 630-7am, and still got there with plenty of time to spare. i took the wrong turn off the M1 at one point too, lol Convoy sounds like fun..!
