haha, same mate..! sorta reminds me of this mechanic i know at southbrook, who is dying of brain cancer. one of the nicest guys you'd ever meet last time i was out there he shows me this nice original 60's valiant he has for sale. his son is also a mechanic there, and regularly puts 'hair dryers' on the sides of his engines, big flares etc. then goes to willowbank on drift nights so yeah the old man says he is leaving everything else to his son, the workshop, all his other cars, tools etc, 'But not the val' he says. so i ask him why "Well, it's like this, that there val has been in the family since brand new, original plates and all. and i want it to stay that way" "if i leave it to my son, he'll get drunk one night and the next thing we'll see is her with all that faggy stuff done to it" translation: turbo, bigger motor, exhaust etc, all the good stuff, lol

been a while since I/we posted. windows getting tinted this arvo finally, was meant to be last year, but i either coudlnt catch my mate, or he was busy. 120 bucks for darkest legal tint on sides and ambulance tint on rear. got the 5K from Rob/mine/Dave's Turtle in her now. bog standard, but nice aircleaner, extractors and 2 inch exhaust, to help her breathe. will post pics when windows are done doing a few small things this week b4 jap day this weekend in Brissie, will be bringing her down. can't wait to see you guys, and put faces to names. if the rest of you are like the good few ive met/spoke to or dealt with, over the last few mths, in the words of Big Kev " I'm excited..!"
