  6. Car: Ke70 Issue: Carpet Installation Hey guys, I was wandering If anyone had any tips, pointers or how to's on carpet Instalation as I'm looking to install a pre-moulded ke70 carpet that I picked up brand new from www.nobullaccesories.com.au. I attempted to install it last night but it seems surprisingly difficult, also even though the carpet is pre moulded, it's still too wide for the inside of my car, and don't know if I should cut it or not... Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
  7. After you scrub it with the cleaning solution it does (if you do anything less than 10 coats its pretty easy to scratch off, I just did every coat light and even, eventually leaving the plastic looking brand new)
  8. Ecu, and wiring loom arrived today :y: Picking up my new T50 gearbox tomorrow night, and then on saturday ive got to do a lovely trek down to Brisbane to pick up the following parts.. Got them all for $600 - Happy with that. Brand new Vl Fuel pump. Brand new 4age Extractors. Brand new 52mm Aluminum Radiator 220mm flywheel. 4a Clutch. Clutch master slave and hardline.

  10. Just black Vinyl Spray (Named VHT VINYL DIE) from AutoPro comes in a range of colours. - $16 a can, works a treat(you can spray seats, your dash and anything else that is material based - Not metal or plastic), and there is a cleaning solution you have to buy a swell, comes in a small tin, can't remember what its called, but they suggest you buy it when you buy the spray, because you dip a cloth in it, and scrub the area your spraying, it cleans all grease from the liner (NO ITS NOT DEGREASER - ALTHOUGH THAT MIGHT WORK WELL) and it also softens up what ever your spraying with it allowing the vinyl spray to seep into the material better, essentially leaving the quality of the final product looking alot better :y: .... I used this same technique on my dash (The foam/rubber part) And I did all the plastics with standard black spray paint (about 20 coats, and about 20 coats of clear - don't want that shit scratching off!) , after using the cleaning solution on them, as it works well on just about everything... If you use this technique let me know how it turns out for you :)
  11. Finished spraying my roof liner tonight, love getting high from the lovely vinyl spray gasses.. Looks pretty sweet I reckon.
  12. don't worry answered my own question!!
  13. Awesome thread dude, great work being done keep it up.. Neila looks like a beast! What happened to the chrome bars and quads but? Decided to sell? Or are you still running them? Just cause last few pics not seing any?
  14. I didnt just want them so I could fit the wheels, also wanted them for the absolutely amazing look they will give my car.. Just you wait till my Quads arrive, she gets painted and those guards are fitted.. Will be looking tough as F**k
  15. Nah I picked mine up from a guy on the net somewhere, they are full fiberglass, got a little bit ripped $270 posted from brizvegas.. Not sure how I'm going to fit them as of yet, as they werent built for a Keto, they fit pretty well except for the bottom area of the car (where theres the indent at the rear and front of the car - Where the sides of your bumpers sit.. Might have to jig something up to fill the gap.. As of cutting the guard - I don't think ill cut it out completely, maybe perhaps just make them alot bigger, so that there is minimal guard left and only enough to put the bolts in.. Probably save about 5kg haha.. Not that weight bothers me.
  16. Removed those lame hubcap things off my wheels this morning, turns out they weren't the toymods steelies hiding behind the caps, but in all honesty I like the look of these wheels more.. Kinda look 4WD Spec but I think they are Phat.
  17. Late thisavo my bolt on guards arrived, I'm so happy, means that ill be able to run the 15x10s without having to flair the shit out of my guards.. Now just to paint them black and bolt them on.. After finishing work tonight I cracked into some work on Cop Bait, began spraying my roof lining as it was a tan colour, got the whole first coat done, and then I ran out of spray, so tomorrow I'm off to Auto Pro to grab a second can so I can finish the job.. Here's a picture of when I started. After that I decided it was time to install my Sub and amp (located in my boot) properly, so I pushed the sub into the very left corner of my boot, and right against the back wall, then I screwed it into the floor that I made so it is properly secured, then I measured out the gap from the right hand edge of the Sub, to the right hand side of my boot, and then made the measurements of the hight (14cm) and width.. Here is what I came up with (Looks like a heavy peice of shit, but its firm and stable). Then I cracked out the carpet out and covered it nicely, looks pretty sweet. Then marked out where the amp was going to sit and bolted her in. Drilled some wires and re-ran the wires through the base of the shelf.. and ran the wires out through the rear wall and behind the seat (So no ugly f*cking wires can be seen).. I think I did an alright job.. Hopefully tomorrow night I can install my carpet and seats, finish spraying the roof liner, install my bolt on guards and install my door cards..
  18. They are just circular hotrod ones.. I'm doing my best to keep this thing as different to every keto as possible.. Oh and those hubcaps have been removed
  19. Finally sold Jail Bait - Good ridden's to the shit box, you wont be missed. Picked up my re-upholstured Monza Bucket Seats today, hate to brag but they look absolutely amazing!
  20. i don't mind just a single dumpy, but Ive always wanted to run Dual, and my thoughts are if I ran just a twin exhaust out the back, the old keto would start to look like a commo and we don't want that :(
  21. Because I would like them to bend upwards, and out the back of my car, hopefully leaving less black soot up the back of my car ;)
  22. Yeah dude, completely... Picked up a twin exhaust from supercheap today, 3" twins to a 3" single, its about 7" long, so now I will attatch my curved 3" pipes to the twin ends, and my straight pipe to the back..
  23. Did that already haha no where had them :(
  24. Wicked, the coat hanger is a great idea, didn't even think, i wondered how i could get silver filler wire, as ive only seen gold! Ill go back to my old high-school this week and see if they will let me use there oxy ;)
  25. Awesome thanks heaps man :)
