Some hilux diff my uncle gave me. Has no marking in it so dunno what one exactly but seems to be 4.3 or close to it.

So I kinda ʞ©$ɟed up big with the diff. Was putting it in finally and noticed that the breather was on the bottom of the diff. Realised I had welded all the mounts on upsidedown. Face palm. Managed to salvage it but. But cutting the front and rear faces off it and turning the 180° so the diff will turn the right way. Just going to cut the breather off and weld it on top and patch the hole. Same with the drain plug that's currently sitting on top of the diff

diff is almost complete needs two more mounts and paint and then gets put in. made progress on the parts car got it running ace and deleted the powersteering pump and a/c with a belt off a bmw. also hoping to pick up a sc14 for it so i can get that all sorted while i tackle redoing the engine mounts and driveshaft then its just front coilovers and shes ready can't beleive its getting this close now. couple hours each arvo and it will be done in no time

I thought about that with mine but I found it easier to modify the extractors. Didn't need much just added a slight S into them to space them out wider. Made sure to do both sides so their equal still. Havnt finished them waiting till I put this ecotec in and will finish it all up

Goodluck with the build mate Mines being going for a year or two now. Still not done but getting close Only real problem that's a pain is the extravtors are right at the steering so you need to cut and angle it and bend around it. Itherthan that its pretty straight forward

not to sure really. i know a month or two ago someone let loose on the towns mainstreet leaving massive skid marks everywhere and he put a picture up he took of it and was saying hes getting the blame for it now so possibly that and a whole heap of other shit his ex has being blamming on him. dunno for sure just guessing. no one can give me a proper answer atm

for those that already know and those who don't. I'm unsure what is going to happen wiith the corolla. don't know if his old man is going to keep it or sell it but dion has been locked up and no one can give me an answer as to how long for. but guessing with him having previous time its not going to be soon which is ʞ©$ɟed. i do know that he had started trying to sell it/parts last week but i don't know what of it has been sold if any has. if anyone that doesnt have him on facebook would like anything i will try and get a hold of his old man to see what is going on with it if i can.

scored a running vs wagon tonight going to pick it up on the weekend. so will be going to ecotec now. also ripped out the diff and started taking measurements to convert this hilux diff over for it.
