Cut some sheet metal drilled someholes to fit the original rubber base mounts for the rad welded them onto the subframeat an angle so the bottom hole has enough room. Made up two more mounts and welded them on. Two bolts and it come straight out. Also giving plenty of extra room for engine removal.
Started on the radiator today.
Had to cut some space for it so I can have it on a slight angle for the bottom hose to clear the subframe and give more roo. For a slim fan trying to figure out how toount it now
just scored some cusco cambertops today, been looking for upperhats for them and only ones i can find forsale are the t3 ones. ( havn't looked very hard) but ive been reading people having trouble with them binding against the tops and stopping them from turning.
can anyone point me in the right direction as to what ones to use
Got some 5 mill plate off cuts from work and made some seat mounts finally. Welded in main piece then cut up two more langths bolted to the seat and welded them on the main plate. Has a nice bit of 3mm stainless chanel style shit I found. Not sure what it was from but its strong as balls. Welded that in under the rear of the seat and bolted it up aswell. Seat does slide but its stiff as shit so gonna be a bitch to get back off if I have to. Just go Na clean up the front with a panel covering the Gap you can see.
sadly i have no pics. but diff is in.
tunnel has one peice left in it to be welded in and its done. engines will be ripped out of both cars as soon as my mate brings over his engine crane.
so getting close.
I'm still stuck on what to do about mounting the seat. anyone have any ideas.
would pick up an older boxer engine over the new ones fraction of the price.
would be awesome but there is no room for it very tight squeeze already thought about going this route.
