guys you can go on and on about this. Its all opinion based. If your in the market for an AE86 you would be prepared to pay the right price for the right car. unles your a dreamer... AE86s have a huge history and its all about supply and demand at the moment... so no reason prices shouldnt go up... take that stuff to AE86DC... back on topic

guys you got to understand there are ways around doing stuff like this ;) how do you think all the cars in Sydney and Melbourne get driven on the streets lol... when you got the cash to do an engine conversion, you got the cash to get it on the road... and remember Adelaide is still the most relaxed and always has been about modifications etc etc

custom, modified ae86 struts.... with all the stuff needed to make em fit... lot of work though... custom... people put in ke70 struts but they are shit, why would you go ke70 struts when all the ke70 boyz are putting in ae86 struts lol... could also look at corona/cressida struts similar to ae86 but Id just do an ae86 setup.... thus if you do this, you will have 4x114.3... and thus solves both your problems, coilovers and brake upgrade at the same time...

100% its 4x110... remember previous owner telling me...

ah man these engines go for 400 000 kms in some cases, just look after em and they go for ages... as long as you service it regularly u can thrash the crap out of these K engines, they are built to last, Toyota reliability at its best!

well a ke30 engine bay is roughly the same size as an 808/1300 etc so no probs fitting a rotor in there... a 20B has been put in a KE20 with no firewall mods haha

I have same model car as a daily, its gutless in stock form, and the 4speed just makes it a cruiser not a race car... extra gear makes it a lot better on highways so if highways are your thing then id swap in a 5speed... I think the same as you about not thrashing it in 4th... basically I only go fast when necessary... when its 60 its 60, when its 100, its 100, simple...

and they sound insane aswell!!! haha!!! But have heard that they are becoming very rare nowdays, and most would need a rebuild... + hard to get parts... id say go 13B, if its built proper and is looked after you shouldn't have problems...

forgot to say, yesterday, spotted mustard KE25, with black bonnet, cruising west down Currie st midday... had stickers on rear quarter windows... made my day!

Richardsons engine service, mullers rd hamstead gardens i think... wont charge ya much for a skim...

yea gotta love the KE25 grills... the KE20 ones just don't look as nice... if you want to complete the front end, KE25 corner garnishes + lower strip with air vents... also you move quick! engines looking good! mmm carbs!!!

hehehe eddie how you going its Tally... well basically the 18r in it now is a boat anchor... I have 18r extractors if you want... bolt in engines would be a 18RG... not that hard to get, but also not easy to get... but kinda hard to get in good condition these days... most would need rebuild.... also an 18RG is rated at between 100 - 150 hp... but most are tired by now... any other engine will have to be custom conversion...

far out look like some guys are pulling decent numbers out of K motors!!! K motor FTW!

my te2# cluster goes to 190kmh, my 1974 KE25 goes to 170kmh... its been discussed before... think its mph for early models/years while kmh for the late model/years... what year is ur white one and ur parts car...

sounds like you picked up a neat ke25... same model, same colour combo as mine... good luck and get some pics for us all!!! and maybe make a members ride in the rollaclub rides section.... yes reason that ke25s are a fair bit rarer then ke20s is that all ke25s were made in Japan, while ke20s were built by AMI in melb... also ke25 cost more when new... seen a few go for a few grand in the last year or two... and they were unrestored!!!
