Man I've thrown away soooo many colts/champs.... one just a couple of weeks ago. No 2 doors though.
Did the USA market get the really cool-but-useless 8 speed manual gearbox with two shift levers?
*e7* have an 'L' shaped plastic strip running along the front which is stapled to the headlining and tucks in behind the windcreen seal. Well mine do anyway. The sides are just glued to the metal behind the trims, but for the roof you'll definately need those metal rods.
Unless you just use that really cool stretchy flexible speaker box carpet and mould it to the shape of the roof.
Are those converters still being made? They were probably on the shelf of every parts store in the country around the time we changed to kph... Judging by the dust (and the 6 digit phone number on the packet) I'm assuming they're n.o.s. thats been sitting 'out the back' for a zillion years :o
Shitload faster on my PC too... also doesn't freeze or make that goddamn irritating 'bong' noise when an alert window pops up.
Mind you, I run Linux so everything is faster, nobody gets my money, I don't get viruses, and it never f@$ks up...
How courteous... I guess due to the large amount of abandoned backpacker cars up here they dispense with such formalities... they just stick a notice on the windscreen saying "Hey, anybody own this? Well, y'all got 24 hours, bitch" and then tow it.
They hold it for one month during which time they try to find the owner, then they advertise their intent to auction in another months time.
I buy a lot of cars from the council :lolcry:
ooooh... the coupe....
"Don't mention the war... I did, but I think I got away with it."
Anyone here old enough to know what Fawlty Towers is will get that joke. :P
