Yes you can get them... the housing fits right into the bulb holder and the 'lens' is shaped to disperse the light in a more omnidirectional way. I had blue ones in a KE70 and they look quite good... I found mine in japan, but I have seen them on ebay and on the shelf in auto accessory shops too. Few bucks per LED.

Holy crap the dude wanted 6 grand?!?!?!?! 4k is MUCH more realistic considering non-twinkies can be had for KE70 money these days.

Slightly off topic here, but sorta relevant... indulge me... Do any of you rotorheads know what gearbox a 2 litre 1980 929L runs? I've got two, 4 and 5 speed but they're kinda flogged... I was hoping maybe the equivalent rotor powered model may have a stronger box I could use? Cheers....

Rules of thumb: Take things off while its running. If it stops running, put it back on. If you take something off and it leaves a hole, plug the hole up. Be sure to leave the tube for the dizzy vacuum advance, but thats about the only one you need to leave. Everything else can get binned.

I think you'll find the wide tyres are quite necessary, and understeer virtually eliminated, due to the rear mounted transaxle. I find the 'visual' conjecture quite amusing, on this forum and others.... you have to remember, its not really a daily driver. Its a $150k plus supercar... its been built with the primary purpose of going stupidly fast, not pick up the groceries. For mine, I reckon if I was going to drop a lazy 150 large on a high performance car, I'd be rather miffed if it had conservative styling. Form follows function after all... For that, and a few other reasons, I think its bloody stunning....

I remember seeing something on this topic not long ago, and its something I'd been meaning to try when I had an R32 Skyline as they tend to get a bit 'floaty' at high speed... Apparently adding a few rows of upside down 'speed bumps' on the underside of the car generates lower pressure... I might see if I can find the article again or draw a little picture from memory.
