  1. Different to what? Both the T18's I sent to China last week had the same type PS. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=GRQ567yQ7UA
  2. I'm going to apply that technique to every slammed Euro I see from now on. Wander round carparks bashing the arches in...
  3. I giggled
  4. Tucked away nicely inbetween the shed and a volvo
  5. Will see what happens when we try to remove it... The entire car is twisted and its under a looooot of pressure :P I expect it will crack

  9. I'll let the pics talk
  10. Economy of scale. (there are hundreds of thousands of Falcodores, and they all have the same faults, of course parts will be cheaper) and again, tariffs. There's tax on imported parts as well. Its cheap to buy and own European everywhere but here, purely because we don't buy (can't afford) that many, the dealer network is smaller, and parts are expensive because those dealers don't buy in quantity. The more there are, the cheaper they become to own. But that won't happen whilst the lopsided anti-competitive laws exist.
  11. Serious. Line up the same trim/spec level Commodore, Failcon, 5 series, E class, Audi A6, VW Passat etc etc next to each other with a similar RRP, which one would you buy? Hell with lower import duties, it'd be cost effective for the Japanese manufacturers to start selling all the GOOD stuff over here. Crown, Mark X, Skyline sedan/coupe...
  12. And in other news, 99.5% of people employed within the Australian auto industry will be completely unaffected. Now all the govt need do is reduce the ludicrous taxes and tariffs on imported vehicles so more of us can afford the higher quality cars built overseas, rather than feeding MY money into propping up the locally built garbage.
  13. +1 needs moar airtime to achieve Yoda-esque levels of epicness Do it again, and don't come back until at LEAST three vertebra have been compressed. :)
  14. Don't be shy :P

  18. Yeah, that's him
  19. Here's another fun fact: If Toyota wasn't run by completely nonsensical idiots, and I was able to purchase an AWD wagon variant of the Corolla in this country (You can, in Japan of course) there would be one occupying my driveway right now. Why they only sold the 120 series as wagons here is utterly beyond me.
  20. Checked the regs on cages lately? I haven't, but Steve (86coupe) had all sorts of grief getting his cage plated recently... They didn't like welding at all, had to bolt it through with plates on the underside etc
  21. ZZE12* series? No major differences mechanically between the two, only small exterior cosmetic changes and slightly nicer seats. I *think* the wagons were all Japan built, (a good thing) as opposed to some of the earlier 120 series sedans/hatches which were slapped together by monkeys in South Africa and are an absolute pile of shit.
