You could also work out the resistance required and put resistors behind the light assembly wired inline before the actuall assembly, i have fitted truck clearence lights (Narva LED assembly) in the front of my GP, and the indicators do flash fast (like there's one out) but i'm too lazy for resistors and it isn't illegal with what it's doing now. http://www.rollaclub.com/gallery/public_upload/Picture250.jpg' target='_blank'>

Yes Stock 3ETE (1.5 SOHC 12v turbo), 86 model GP turbo

Yeah it was located after the stock cat converter which was directley off the dump pipe, but when i had a custom dump made the new cat got put down below the fire wall, thus relocating the sensor. i'll check it out. Cheers

And that would be mounted where?? down near the cat converter??

Lend me your collective thoughts on what could be the problem, :) My Check engine light keeps coming on, sometimes it comes when you give it a stab, it'll cut power for a split second then the light comes on and most times it goes off again. Other times just driving up the highway the light will just come on and won't go off till you shut the car down. Timing belt was done at 109,000k's (now up around 140,00k's) Oil is fine Engine temp runs around 80*c average (splitfire gauge). Could this be poor tuning?? or a faulty sensor somewhere?? The boost has been increased from standard to 11 psi, standard turbo will take 14 and the cut out (that's when the ECU says stuff you and lock's you back to 5psi) is about 13.5 psi and i'm getting nowhere near these levels. Any idea's????

Depends what sort of ute you buy, you get your Falcodores that are every where, or you get something that's hard to come by and in demand like my Datsun 1200 ute. Power to weight ratio in something this small is the best thing about it, it just doesn't have much in the way of luxury.... so no subs no aircon, but something this small beating 6's and running down the 8's is great. Oh and it's handy for carrying tools around.. or eskies! :) My 2 cents. (not including GST)

Oh yeah... always been a fan of Simmons, they'd cost a pretty penny too.

Cheers tom, let me know what ya find, if successful let me know what i owe you and i'll arrange some the freight to get it up here. (handy workin in road transport)

Fastest 1/4 A 4agze Motor Could Do
Northen Rolla replied to MR AKE70's topic in Automotive Discussion
Rotaries are reliable if you keep the services upto them, check the fluids regularly simply cause they need it, plus you can detect probs early before the the go flying out the bonnet... like any engine really. :) -
The girl that owns it up here keeps saying she wants the 4AGZE in hers but she needs to stop spending on clothes (the girl thing) to do it.

CA18DET's are stronger!! SR20's are overated, good for big heavy things like S14's or S15's cuz of the torque but for something like yours i wouldn't bother.
