  1. car sold it might end up back on this site as i sold it to a bloke with the net and it has a rolla club sticker on it I'm probably going to buy a later model rolla as theyre alot easier to get parts for.
  2. got car running today and the 2 sp auto ke30 tailshaft works fine in my 4 speed manual ke70 gearbox i also used all my 76 model 3k accessorys on my 84 model 4k to totally remove all the pollution crap on the motor.
  3. i agree the ke30 bumper looks heaps better on there id be trying that out if i was building a ke70
  4. fast and the furious dude ,seriously looks awesome :y: would turn heads in the middle of nowhere.
  5. I'm just wondering what you used for a tailshaft behind a v6 auto in the conversion as ive been offered a cheap good vn v6 motor and auto from a mate but the only thing that worries me about doing that conversion myself is the tailshaft sorry for jacking your thread but i thought id ask here rather than start a new thread :y:
  6. i wanna go to that party :y: :y:
  7. i actually quite like this lancer except for the ricer shopping list on the side but thats just my opinion not a bad car otherwise. :y:
  8. i thought 40c for a sticker was too cheap i bought a couple for my pride and joy!
  9. cool thats what i was thinking as soon as i found that out
  10. mmm interesting I'm doing the ke30 to 70 brake upgrade at the moment and didnt know commodore pads fit ke70 callipers :y: I'm going to keep that in mind for my upgrade :y:
  11. i like the front spoiler and wheels but thats about it ,i prefer the aussie spec sprinters
  12. i decided to take a couple of pics for you to try and help as you can see there is only two wires the plug only fits in one place and the lug goes to the post right beside the plug sometimes theres a little cylinder thing thats screwed to the back of the alternator that also goes to the threaded post cheers, john
  13. sorry can't put pic up of it wired up as mines currently not in due to being half way through an engine and gearbox conversion, you just slip the round lug onto the threaded post and tighten the nut and washer onto it then bobs your uncle it will be fixed
  14. yes i used an auto tailshaft out of my ke30 which was a 2 speed auto the spline seemed to fit perfectly and the length was right no modifications needed but keep in mind i havent test driven the car yet due to not having the pedal box but it should be fine. but i wouldnt know if its the same for your ke25 as I'm learning about rollas myself as i go.
  15. rough rolla! i expected to see an untidy rolla, this looks great nice mods
  16. more pics of the manual conversion my interior with manual shifter in and my new 4k motor and 4 speed manual conversion i had to redrill my automatic crossmember to suit the ke70 4 speed manual box,cut the floorpan for the shifter and drill it for the boot and use my automatic tailshaft but no amount of mods to the ke70 pedal box would make it fit so ill have to pick up a ke30 one to complete the conversion so my car now has 84 model ke70 running gear in it I'm stoked
  17. mine only has two wires one with a rond lug on it that goes to the post with the nut on it and a plug with a couple of wires on it that just plugs in to the alternator so simple that i doubt you would be able to get it wrong hope this helps.
  18. flat battery? or your starter motor solenoid is no good maybe
  19. you wouldnt read about it when i was coming home today along station road melton i actually seen the ke55r on a trailer going past me it spun me out because i originally made this post and never expected it to end up in melton if i remember right that was for sale in gippsland somewhere it looked better in real life than in the photos
  20. what a waste of a nice rolla these people are d***heads
  21. coming along nicely  makes me wish i kept my white ke36 wagon :)
  22. my ke30 was originally an auto so i have to change the pedal box
  23. i had the same trouble yesterday when i put a hi cam 4k and 4 speed out of a ke70 in my ke 30 2 door so i just redrilled my auto crossmember the 2 centre holes only and used my one piece automatic tailshaft instead of the 2 piece ke70 one that come with the spare parts ke70 that i used for the conversion everything fits with redrilling the crossmember the only thing i have to buy is a pedal box as no amount of modifications would make the ke70 one fit my ke30.
  24. the latest addition to my car is now it has 4k hi cam out of a 84 model ke70 and also has been converted to 4 speed manual should go a little better than the original 3k and 2 speed auto more pics as soon as i put shifter in and accessorys on engine
