Once I find my old guages (buried somewhere in the garage) I will do a pictorial edition of the steps layed down above - showing which tolls and layers etc to use in photoshop.

Yup I guess thats very trye - but surely drilling holes in the guard creates a weak point SOMEBODY must have come up with a plastic clip of some fashion for attaching the front bar to its anchor points If not then we should collectively put our heads together and patent one !

Have you ever tried to SNAP a zip tie - thats no easy feat - in fact we use them for handcuffs - three zip ties looped together, one for each wrist and one to link them. I reckon there'd be some cracking going on before the zips break - even if it is at the point where the zips are drilled through

OK here comes probably the dumbest question you guys have heard but I have to ask .... What is with the zip ties and front bars ?? (I have seen this on quite a few cars now)

So what sort of baffles are we talking - and what placement - wont the baffles impede the oil pick-up as well ?? Not that I am terribly concerned - you guys keep using a word I am not very familiar with "Acceleration"
