I agree once the piston is past halfway up the cylinder what use are the valves - there would be MASSIVE compression inthe top third of the cylinder and only the sparkplug opening to release it

I reckon gunmetal looks great on any beast but the darker colours show dirt way too much - so if ya want a cleaner look go for the lighter colours like canary or good old arctic white with black detailing

So if we mix Teddy's theory of magnetic pistons and Fook's advice about less energy to push in one direction - then how about a magnetically pulse driven rotary - where each of three magnets pushs the rotor in succession - or more magnets - so it will provide drive much like the Tower of Terror ride at Dreamworld

Ok the Image Scavenger Hunt seemed to die off - this is a new twist on that old game. The rules: 1. No Photochopping! 2. Must provide photo evidence. 3. Must have fun. How to play: Starting with a numberplate every player then tries to find another numberplate with that letter or number sequence or combination. If somebody matches the letter combination then the numbers on that plate become the target for the next hunt. eg The first number plate is ABC 321 and somebody snaps a plate BAC 950 ... they matched the letter combination so then we would be looking for a plate with one of the 6 combinations you can make with 950 ....

would have to be a WAN to get me online :)
