  1. well that the idear, but doing that is a little harder then it seems, IF the wheels of the TB's are different sizes i will have to do it my way, as removing the wheel is almost impossible because of the way they attaches the butterfly. You also can not just put to cables coming from the pedal, as it would involve some tedious firewall drilling and mucking around, which i really really don't feel like doing. When i was 1st desingned the setup i was going to go 20v butterflys but it would be even harder due to clearances
  2. reduce idle hunt, and reduce amount of intake track after the throttle, the current setup is laggy and unresponsive.
  3. it briefly crossed my mind, but not only are the TB perendiculear, when its going to be on there, the wheel of the one of the manifold is facing the motor
  4. yah rain :P its been raining since 8 last night at aspley
  5. or you could just do a convo and not tell any one....
  6. Been doing some thinking and i came up with this, what you all think? - in terms of neatness, I'm comparing it to a carby linkage :P Bottom circles are cable attachments, the smaller ones above are little wheels to keep the cable going straight. It would be really easy to ajust if one TB closes faster than another by adjusting the pivot point of one.
  7. yeah thats what i though..... :P looks like some J-spec custom work :D
  8. I'm about 1/2 way through my twin throttle body setup in my gze, but all the time ive wondered how am i going to control bother TB at once, i really don't want to go electronic (PWM and servos...), iv thought of using those cable splitter you get on bikes, but the mechanism is quite tight. Ive seen a few twin TB gze around but i could never figure out how they do it? Idear, suggestions? J PS the 2nd one goes at the arrow
  9. $1450 drive away, the owner worked at Qld transport :) its very scary in the wet lol, it throws its weight around :D, and yeah the steering lock is awesome and the power steering is stupidly light
  10. lol, maybe :D havnt pushed it hard enough yet, its surprising good on fuel, a good thrashing from logan to aspley and it barley made the needle move. But i plan to turbz it with a stupidly large one :( May take it to motokana next weekend... :)

  15. I'm back :) after my friends bugging me to get my car finished i decided i needed some inspiration, so i cranked up the MAPS so that basically flood the motor and went for a tare round the block :D I had a break for a wile, i was tunning and everything went wrong. So after seeing how much power this thing will have wen fully tuned - AND ANOTHER THROTTLE coming SOON- for easer tunning. I'm like.... wow O.O not meaning to light up the tires that easily  so watch this space, stuff will be on and off as i move into tests but still... J
