  1. thats because you carnt see as much of the front end *vomits* :)
  2. I spend way longer than what i wanted too on the throtles today i wanted them back in the car but there not even fully finished and i still need to get the adjustable terminations for the bike throttle cable. (Those screw in/out things that move the end of the cable back and forth) :)
  3. and then going in and still being f@$king hard..... also running out of welding rods in the middle of fabbing..... >.>
  4. AHHHGGGGGGGG 8| just got my junction for throttle cable. f@$king dickhead told me the travel was 2inchs this is only 1.5, all the wrong dimentions and seeing if hes gona refund/replace. FFS ill see if i can get this to work tomorow but it dosnt look good. Looks like i wasted $20, so it wouldnt even be worth it since the shipping was 1/2 the cost. Though for $10 is quite a nice product
  5. anastasios that takes longer than 2-3hrs 8| Ive always wanted to learn a langauge, so maybe! Trying out vids now
  6. So strange now that ive finished my exams I'm finding it hard to do find stuff to do with like 2/3hr gaps for work and other stuff.
  7. Stunning, beautiful, elegant. Seriously Ive always wanted to make my own motor from scratch.
  8. Some quick pix, also note fuel sender.... 8| Also cleaned up the immobilser and central locking, seems kinda of odd in whats going to be a striped out car, but the exterior locks are going to be thrown away after RWC and the car will only be able to be opened from the remote. (Door trigger also disabled)
  9. confirmed dogdy $2 pre-filter, main is ok. Looks like the filter paper had some die that was washing off... Solution, just get rid of the pre filter... 8| looks nether without it now anyway, may put another one in later on. Modding the fuel tank outlets worked excetnly, put stright up into the boot, just have make a smooth plastic cover for the new hole now...
  10. things i did to day. Rip out all interior. Bar dash which will come tomorrow. Install speco fuel sender. Fix up breather lines to fuel tank, fix up bad kinks in hoses coming from fuel tank (tube point stright up into the boot now.) Get really ricy 4 in 1 tacho and manage through stupidity to blow up the shift light LED..... fix tomroow. Mange to get every finger cut up in the process of droping the tank and fishing up random bits and peices that fell into the tank. Pull volvo brakes and discks off to be machined and replaced. Tomorow ill have the tank back in and wired up, and should make a start of getting a rear fire wall sussed out and maybe start fixing up the incabin wiring.
  11. atm ive put it on the dogy pre surge tank filter, cost $2 will test is out later today.
  12. ok i need some help on this. I'm completely perplexed, so i noticed when i pulled the injector rail off the fuel was orange, assuming the worst i though that the tank might be rusted. So i pulled the tank today to install my new fuel sender and had a looksee. To my surprise it was spotless! Little bits of crap but no rust to bee seen (ill get phots of my cerma later). So now the question is why is the fuel going in nice and blue and coming out scummy orangte?!?!? Now this happens as it enter the surge tank so i can only assume it coming from the tank. Unless the overflow is really contanimated and it gets washed back into the main tank. So tell me you ideas wile i contine seaching
  13. yeah they seem to be cheap from a couple of overseas sources between 1.8 and 2.5k. Dosnt seem to be worth it, though id ask anyway because i want to look at all the options. Looks like A-W bellhouseing is the way to go. But as for the noise dosnt mater if it makes my ears bleed got the volvo for the daily
  14. every car sucks in the same abinets air temp...., thats not enough to cool a single turno or sc steup let alone twin charge watere air IC get saturated
  15. yes they are loud but the rolla is only going to be used for driving nothing more... TRD stright cut is aound the 2g mark. Soz a little drunjkrigtt now just got back from my final exam
  16. I'm reading alot of conflicting stuff regarding straight cut gears. Are they any stronger?? because I'm tossing up between a W box and a set of TRD straight cuts, but its starting to look there is no strength benefit regarding SC.
  17. Icey cold gluggy vodka.... tastes like water, scary. But i find i get drunk cheaper on it therefore thats my poison of choice. Its also a great way to store psilocybin if its kept in the dark

  19. new speco fuel gauge <100 with sender, reliability ftw

  21. wait i don't quite get how they work? Do you choose when to engage them? Or is it sorta like an LSD that acts as either open or locked?
