  1. mmmmm quads... they still have a larger surface area than my 2.75inch throttles ! also on the note of the volume of the SC12 that is interesting that it seems to choke the flow? may make up in compression though? Though IIRC the cylinder carnt aculty suck in its full volume of air in the intake stroke.
  2. Me to O.O , got to get me a compression check, its just got a bit of worrying blow by :P yeah once the cable split comes it shouldnt be far away from a decent tune with out using 100L/min
  3. hehe, well my throttle spliter has just been sent from the states so HOPEFULLY ill get it after my finals which will be nice. Also have to fix the brakes on the volvo b4 i do anything else to the rolla, metal on metal goodness.... and quicly bolted the manifold on without a gasket to see how it runs with new throttle.... mmmmmm delicious but have to make up a gasket.... and no more revving out to 3000rpm after cranking :P and ive good a very bad sneaking suspicion that i fuked up a ring installation.... have to look into this.... but even if i have it wont be THAT big a deal since most of the time hase been with fuking around with custom parts
  4. like it, but looks kinda dodge, there used a weird 86 thread on the DC awile back
  5. LogicallyCritical i though id share this now since he has just stoped making eps and will be talking the website down :D :)
  6. does anybody know if there are any ausie supplies for cable Junction Block LINK on the right kinda stuff last resort is making own, bike cable splitter don't have enough travel.... for throttle and are to numb
  7. well unaware at the time i had muiltiple assiment due in the following days to yeah, got finals in 2 weeks but after that progress should start again Here it is dummied up, the best bit about cars, buiding em :)
  8. nice :) back to study :D
  9. 4age maybe an sr20 or if you feelin lucky 3sg(T!!!)e. Prices, depends who does the work. IIRC the bay is a little smaller than all the other rollas ?
  10. ooooooooooooollllllllllllllllllllddddddddddddddd.....ish
  11. yeah i know the theory behind the thermostat, but what I'm saying is that because there is no abartiy point at which it turns on, it is continuous, therefore under load were the radiator is needed the most, the thermo is never actually fully open of fully closed? See what I'm getting at? Unless they have large a latent heat, were its set at 85 but in reality the water temp say goes up to 90/95 before it fully opens, then goes down to say 70/75 before it fully closes.
  12. "The important point is whilst the thermostat is closed the thermosyphon effect cools more than just the radiator." care to elaborate? And to make sure I'm on the same page thermosyphon effect is the current loop from the expansion and condensation of different temps? Little off topic, but just thinking of the way the termostat works in this care, since its controls flowrate and not say a switch, does that mean the temp is controlled continuously and not... carnt think of the word... 'stepped' like a eletric thermo. Because if this was the case then a small flow would always be moving through the radiator (when under load)..... I just find it hard to belive its either going to be on or off and not constantly fluctuating between. Unless its got some seriously latent heat storage.
  13. gets my approval of win :lolcry:
  14. lulz Whats up with all the bs catfighting?
  15. wow way to get f@$king offtopic.... and for the initial post, if you got time and a spare car to burn, what the hell, do it. :lolcry:
  16. i AM German... well 1/2 :y:
  17. i did maggots, eating some one elses shit is a little obscure. :y:
  18. Delicious lol at random thread :y:
  19. IMO the only design to use that would be beneficial would be the VW. "The supercharger shouldn't mind recieving hot air from the turbo, because it won't be for much time, so there isn't much chance to heat up the supercharger lobes, and the turbo does not have to supply huge amounts of boost, so the air should not be too hot. Use 2 intercoolers if you can, but in my case, there was no room." Define 'much time' I though the idea of twin charging is for the S/C to take the slack until the turbo starts boosting? So if you turn it off it shouldn't matter. because the turbo SHOULD have matched and be exceeding the flow of the S/C. If not the system is wasting energy. Then again the restrction of the S/C are reduced becuse it no longer has to compress air. But its still heating it up.... So even if it is 'idling' at say 15psi it is still wasting energy by simply moving and add that to the fact its heating the air up for no reason other than just to be on. :y: not taking into consideration how much strain the S/C clutch is put under if it constaly being turned on and off at speed* (as in i really don't know)
  20. Nice set of intercooler teeth would be just as good :y:
  21. lol :P luckly its not on my 'me time' hand :y:
  22. ... that is all
  23. lol its green *giggle* awesome pair :y:
  24. hey hey! well i finally got my welded manifold back :) just finished putting the TB back on. Tomrorowowo i will be finding a cable splitter and making some mounts for the troatle cables. And if i can do that tomorow...... i should be running again by them aswell.
