  1. Yes I have thought of the dead webber idear, but it dosnt float my boat, I couldnt stand having all that extra casting there... OCD Nothing like learning a new skill :laff: Going to slowly work through this, cad models first. Now where is my big book of bearings?
  2. I have been thinking about this for some time. How hard can it really be :laff: Serisouly? Aluminum tube stock Brass cut butterflyes Steel square linkage Bit of welding here and there Opinions?
  3. Ok now imagine that with no fenders, lights all round, seats, springs (or anything aculty connecting the diff to the chassis lol), bumper. Only interior it had left was a wire frame seat :laff:
  4. I'm amazed you didnt sell some of those ke70's for an over inflated price to guys on 86dc, my 86 parts car sold for $1500 with chronic bent chassis and epic rust. pix for the lulz when I get home. (teddy was is 1500 or 2000?)
  5. FFS Ok, so say for a 4age, use the small sc12 running regular boost even under drive it to be able to keep the high rev ablity of the 4age. Then useing a small turbo, lets say 5-8psi max. Supercharger feeds turbo, also have a large 'check valve' between the charger and turbo to allow the turbo to flow more than the charger. The check valve just taps into the piping between the charger and turbo, letting non-pre charged air in but locks off in lower boost cases.
  6. took all of 5 seconds http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/attachment...157_35_full.jpg Also I think it would be nice to put a 'real' intercooler and aftercooler for maxxxium performance. Or maybe water injection just at supercharger outlet, although there is a possiblity of blade errioision from impingment if the water dosnt fully evaporate. Twin charger setups make me feel funny inside  ffs now you have me thinking about twin charging my mr2...
  7. mmm clean
  8. Thats like illegal? Coles paid $19.80 for packing shelves
  9. If you do your job good your boss wont yell?? coming from someone who works partime in an office behind a computer  Uni 4 the winz
  10. Sorry trev like I said there is a fundamental flaw in the way turbomachines works. For it to work in series you would need a high flow turbine which is allowing lots of heat to flow through (ie low efficiency). Which is what that cummins setup looks like its doing. What that setup up is doing is using that fact centrifugal pumps have large gains in pressure ratios in series. Also don't forget the large back pressure the primary turbo would see attributing for further losses.
  11. I like to see a dyno plot of boost for that 'compound' setup, looks like a lot of losses. And basic turbomachine thoery is that your extracting enegery out of the stream, so the dumped gas has little left so little driving force of the large turbo. I saw a similar setup up on a V6 and the guy was wondering why he couldnt spool is big turbo until 6000
  12. evan by your logic (real) superchargers wouldnt work But *face palm*
  13. Clasical FM :(
  14. Orsum with an O But make it compete with other crowns.... 1uz :(
  15. c**ts who think its funny to almost on purpose run into your car, just becuse your driving a riced up lancer don't hate.
  16. Posting huge things takes time. If hes the guy I'm thinking of I would be surprised if he scamed you.
  17. Also going out on a bit of a limb here. If I ask my self where are the stresses from a cornering load in the back, I would say, 1 panhard rod, 2, torsion load in arms (maybe, I would assume the pan hard rod would try to remove this), 3 lateral spring load. Please feel free to argue with me :y: After a bit more thinking (yah work ) IMO it would be hard to actuality brace the spring perches them selves (Like easy enough braces in the front) as they are pretty much level with the floor of the boot. Anybody keen on some tension string and video?
  18. Have you guys felt where that top part of the brace welds to, it is flimsy as all shit. Easy and much cheaper to DIY. I mean its just a peice of 2 (1/2) maybe inch steel tube by the looks of it. $180
  19. Not to be disheartening but there was a burnt up two door something I spotted a couple of days ago. It was at night though :/
