That is a bit over the top maybe you could get your Dad or a male friend to get a quote for you Bianca. I hate it when people try to rip people off.

that seems excessive how do they justify that price for boring and bushes, was it for a recond short motor.

just plain Ajax will clean them good, the older ones tended to rattle a bit so it may pay to re rivet.

You couldn't compare the 2 of them, the tail light looks good. I'm going to have night mares about my window tint going like that.

The trouble with smaller fuel company's is that sometimes in an effort to make a larger profit they will add cheaper solvents to there tanks. this happened to me a few years back i had it tested in a lab at work and it showed up traces of Toluene and Methyl Ethyl Ketone(MEK) both ingredients in paint thinners worth 20 cents per litre. The hoses ,rubbers,pumps have no chance Teflon is the only seal i know of that will stand up to them.

Is there much Ke30 35 or 55 corolla stuff there at UPI ?

A seal puller/ pick would be a good start.

its the venturi tube that he was talking about it needs to be matched to the approx size of the engine or it will be useless.

Take it out get it bogged so you can take some pics. I saw a new land-cruiser bogged down to the spare tyre mounted on the rear door, I wish I had my camera. We had to pull him out with a bulldozer..
