  1. 6 foot 3 inches inside 16 feet long
  2. Thanks everyone for the comments. I just put the 12 slots on so i could roll it out the shed. I am going to use VY VZ commodore one tonner rims they are thicker than sedans and stamped with Ute, If used with light truck tyres they will be legal.
  3. Raven , did you get the brakes bleed better today?
  4. Thanks Everyone for your comments, Day 4.2 I only spent 2 hours tonight as I worked all day. I ran the wires for the electric brakes tonight Good news ready to tip. ;) More good news my boss said use any equipment i need. :y:
  5. been looking on ebay / trading post for 6 months but i couldn't find one i liked for a new trailer the same GVM $7000 - $12000.
  6. do they give to the church one of the richest organizations in the world.
  7. I get all my whitewalls from john at Antique Motor Spares, Wingfield SA
  8. I'm pretty sure the church wont mind if you don't go as long as you give a seventh of your wage, at least thats the impression i get looking as an outsider.
  9. the metal was the cheap part, it was the springs and axles that cost $3000 alone but if you wanted to just shift small cars axles/ springs would be cheaper.
  10. Why is it allways someone else who finds all the bargian rollas. ;) what are your plans for the car?
  11. the trailer rolls OK upside down i have this chain block was thinking of trying to flip it over later on.
  12. Day 4 made a little progress today .
  13. give spectrum a try http://www.spectrumrubber.com.au/
  14. why not use 4af in pretty sure they are 18mm.
  15. but it still wont run properly with a hot-wire on the fuel pump so i would check pressure at the rail.
  16. maybe the bonnet was up at the time, i saw a car drive into a hoist with similar damage the mechanic was under the dash at the time.. ;)
  17. If that doesn't work I would test the pressure at the injection rail.
  18. what model are we talking about for the fender mirror ?
  19. they look good but maybe defectable. or worst still if there was an accident lets say a car rear ended you and the other driver said they couldn't see your lights the insurance company may try to make you pay.
  20. I'm thinking about having a spare set of long ladder ramps to take with me when i need them. i have frequently had the back wheels of my Ute off the ground when loading its not good, on a hill no brakes and you start rolling down the road. I try and get someone to hold the brake pedal down in my Ute so the front brakes hold it. at least with this trailer i can pull the breakaway pin before i load and its not going anywhere.
  21. It took me half the day to fit and align them, I'm just going back wards if i disassemble now.
  22. It is going to be interesting just how much it does weigh when i put it over the weigh bridge, i got a 1.0 tonne bock and tackle its starting to get a bit heavy for that.
  23. I'm back to work on Monday for 3 days anyway. I have maybe 4 hours work left tomorrow , draw-bar , hitch plate and fit hitch, chains, light conduit to rear, and painting underside. before I'm ready to flip. The earthmoving company I work for is only 50 meters down the road from my workshop. so i will just borrow a loader or backhoe for 10 min job done.
  24. If you put the effort getting the base smooth with filler padding etc the vinyl will stretch around and you wont be able to tell its been recovered.
