  4. looking good parrot... great collection you have there.
  5. yeah well... the rust in the tail gate is rmoving itself... haha.. the blind pretty much covers everything under it. Its Block out curtain material so no light can get through. It cost me ... $12 for the retractable blind Core - Made of cardboard so you can trim it to size. $5 for the Aluminium Metal pole $22 for the Blacout fabric, i bought 150mm of it... only need 110mm to cover the back, but i wanted the extra flap to hang lower. $25 for a clothing alterations place to trim it up, overlock, and sew in the sleeve for the metal pole. $10 for hooks and fastenings. the best quote i got from a blind maker was $139.00
  6. are you effing kidding.... your car is overrated! but yeah... what a shocking dint! :)
  7. I just took some now.... Head unit Tweeter Position My Rear Blind Which conveniently hides....
  8. I reckon they look ok on this..... ... don't you think?
  9. yeah it sure is... i ended up removing the stock Stereo and got the ACC power from the loom there. Antenna was long enough to not require the extension i bought ... doh.... but all hooked up, and pumping :) i might look at replaceing the 4" front speakers with something better as they are lacking alot of Mid/bass... can't expect too much from $40 speakers though :)
  10. my stereo installed this weekend... as much as i liked the nostalgia of the torn paper cones and FM radio... i needed soemthing with a little more clarity. So my Budget system went in. I had an old Fusion head unit, which did the trick, and i ebayed the following for $40 Phillips 4" splits - Fit perfectly in the OEM spots and mounted tweeters low on the a pillars. Phillips 6"X 9" 3 ways. - mounted in soem speaker boxes in the back... still not sure what to do with these, i may custom up some new wagon trips to accomodate the speakers for a more "permanent" look. i also got a 10" sub, which i havent installed "free to good home" or trade for anything of interest my old Pioneer sub in box and amp are all wired in too. the whole setups nice and neat!. Just want to say a HUGE thankyou to SamQ for letting me come out to his garage and let me use his tools for the morning/arvo. Buy his custom parts people, he's got them all sussed out!
  11. hey mate.... the guys at City Suspension charged me $450 for Kings Springs in the front, and Resetting and Adding a new leaf to the rear Inc all labour. I think its a great Price. Alos i just installed a stereo in my wagon... i'm also struggling with where to put the rear speakers.... they are in Boxes at the moment... but will need something a little more permanent me thinks... mite invest in some Masonite from bunnings at some stage and make up some new panels for the boot area. hehe.. i found a set of roof racks too... just missing the chrome strips that go on the actual roof though.
  12. do want your roof racks!!!! if you want to get the tips on lowering... speak to the guys at Suspension City in North Melbourne. Great guys and Very cheap!
  13. as above... Peter Robinson will have what you need.

  16. Not very JDM at all..... considering it was probably an ADM corolla. the whole idea behind JDMST isnt where the car came from, its they way they have been styled.

  19. I'm of the same opinion, but would like to see a pic reference, of what it looks like without... i CBF taking mine off right now. epic lazy
  20. Hi guys... I've just spotted this thread over on JDMST, and thought rather than making an calander every year, that only features a small number of cars, that this might make a suitable replacement. this way we can get a very broad number of cars on the page, from every state, from a load of categories, and keep the printing costs down. Its clean, looks sharp, and would suit back of toilet doors! i'd like to see a show of support for this idea, which could potentially save a lot of hassle for the mods, JiP i'm looking at you here, trying to get a calender sorted, having a selection process for cars etc etc. all you need, * a HIGH res 100% side on shot of your car. If its not Side on, its not accepted. * Must be well lit, No night shoots, or digital enhancements Ideally take a shot on a bight Cloudy Day - Clouds give off diffuse light and cleaner shots, no shadows. discuss.
  21. Ok guys... need some advice here.... fender mirrors?? or does it still look too ADM to go down that path?
