  1. Hey Guys, My GF's car has a nice little warm 3k in it, with a 3kb Head, a lumpy cam, and some commodore valve springs etc. I've got a set of the OE Twin Aisian (spelling) to suit the 3kb inc a manifold... which has had the water inlet/outlet damaged. Firstly i need to get the carby's re built, and i am looking for someone to help me either rebuild and tune them too. anyone's help here would be appreciated. I can do EFI... but carby's aren't my friends. Hit me up, if you can help. Andy.
  2. Love this car... Good Luck with the sale Adam. I'm Interested in buying your wheels/rubber if you're interested in seperating.
  3. i'll try and get my white car down for a sprint... i've never run a 1/4 mile timed before.... could be interesting
  4. I'll def take you up on that offer Adam. Would be good to see done pics of rt132 lowered on the ktfl and ktrl combo... If anyone has done it, post away!
  5. Hey Guys... Looking for a solid Answer to a compatibility question. What kind of Spring options do i have that would suit my RT132, i want to lower it about 50mm. I get that they use the same setup as the RA40 Celica and the XT130. looking for some answers... thanks guys. Andy.
  6. loving this civic mate... very nicely done!
  7. so do you think the mountign will be ok.. even with only one bracket on the dizzy side being mounted to the gearbox?
  8. masssive dig up here.... i am about to put an early block in my GF's car... and have noticed there is no gearbox mount on the manifold side of the motor? not like the later 3k blocks.. is it going to be ok to mount the k50 to this motor?
  9. Guys/Gals, I'm in a bit of a bind..... trying to understand carburettors in the first place is a helluva challenge for me, so please bear with me, If anyone has any diagrams of vaccum lines, and where should do what on a 3k manifold, a 3k carby and a 5k carby, the spot near the thermostat housing, the dizzy, and where ever else i should be able to suss it out. I plan on running the 3k manifold so i get the brake booster vacc, the manifold i have spare doesnt seem to have the spot for the hose from the booster to go onto. if there is anyone in melbourne that could spare me a few hours to try and nut this out with me... i would be so grateful!!! thanks in advance Andy

  13. hey mate... common idle hunt issue on a 4AGE... usually its due to an air lock developing in the throttle body. theres a wax pellet sensor there which controls the cold speed idle. you need to get rid of the air lock... do this by filling your radiator with a 2l coke bottle taped flush to the rad cap... the extra height of the water willl force the bubble out.
  14. I'm in as per usual... will prolly roll the cressida though.. so nobby if you're taking the KE.... at least there will be one deluxo barge with tyres squeeling around the corners. or i could bring the SX for epic cornering lols.... lift off oversteer is (dangerously) fun.
  15. set a date, and a place and time, and the Soy and I will come along. the SX now has slotted rotors, EBC Greenstuffs, Genie Headers and Secondaries the Simmons V4's, and a few more tricks coming.
