Wheels look HOT.

It had a venetian already, i took it out to clean it and it actually looks better without it. Might change my mind the more accessories i get! Not 100% on visor. I'm liking this clean look at the moment, although defiantly need some eyelids.

New 175/65's on front, dropped the back end two splines for funzies. don't actually like it that much. May drop front end slightly more and come up one spline on rear for rake styles.

She will be out for a few cruises soon enough! I'm thinking some 175/60 possibly Ben? I can't have any stretch because I'm running the flappers and they wont sit flush.

She was a great car, i hope the new owner treats her good. Bit of a shame to send her away 4x4 style with standard suspension. Nothing will replace this car for me but i just wanted to move forward. She will be forever missed!

Heres a couple more pictures guys Spent a bit of time yesterday just putting on the walls and started to lower it. I need some smaller tyres! I couldn't lower front more than two splines as it rubs pretty hard with 195's (if you have a look at pther dubs low they all have high offset wheels at the front so they don't rub). Back got dropped two splines as well but will go one more once i have smaller tyres.

I want one of those Air conditioners! Chobis has one the bastard!

Paint is OK, but is heavily cracked in areas. Although i have much love for squarebacks, I love the fastback and have always wanted one over the square! Nope 20 stuff mostly gone, nothing special left ;) She shall be sorely missed. I got him down a fair way on his price! Its a much different car than the KE20, i have so much love for my 20 that i think its the coolest thing in the world, but this beast could prove to be amazing soon too. Thats the plan Ben, flappers this weekend then drop her down! Although probably wont be super super low, just enough to look good.

With the sale of my KE20 gone through i have brought this pimping beast. 1970 Volkswagen Type 3 Fastback 1.6 EFI Motor 4 Speed Manual Extractors 14x6 steelies (stock is 14x4.5) Great car overall that i picked up pretty cheap. Runs well and should prove to be a good daily. Straight and no rust however original paint is cracking pretty badly in certain areas but still looks very presentable. Plans: Whitewalls (this weekend) Lowered (this weekend) New dash pad New drivers seat General tidy up of interior New number plates Any suggestions? The guards on this thing would eat the 7's. No flares required. Haha I'm surprised someone noticed my 'angry eyes', its only tape, looks pretty funny, i will take it off soon!

Stock 300,000K Automatic Tunes installed Flappers Spent the weekend cleaning it up, painted the wheels and front plastics, jammed on the flappers and lowered the car a small amount. Then stickered the beast up and jammed a DOMO toy in the window. Ill get some better pics up in the next couple days. overrated in every aspect apart from rust in passenger guard and small ding on drivers guard. Although having said that it handles like a boat and everything seems to rattle? Such god awful car but for $300 I'm not complaining!

Their hub centric, i could run a wider diff but that still means my track is way out unless i wanted to get things engineered? Which I'm not really in the financial position to do so.

I have regency a call today, told them about the 5k and they didn't have much of a problem, I just need to change engine numbers after its through. On the drums issue i have discs so i'm not worried! Interesting that my venetian is illegal without two side mirrors apparently? Just lots of little things i have to do such as change under diff exhaust and remove fender mirrors etc. Yes the ke20 came out with 12x7's :) And thanks luke I'm sure I'm going to have to borrow a few bits and pieces of some of the great members of SA! I'm usually a chilled guy but this was a very big part of my life, i use my corolla as a form of self expression i suppose and hence it has made it a very emotional topic for me. Ive started making a list of things that i need to change and things they may pick on, can you guys help educate me on the possible things they may pick on? Certain things to change: Front springs too low Flipped rear springs Spacers all round Wheels 7” wide with -7 offset Slight stretch on tyres Horn doesn’t work Tinted Tail lights and indicators Exhaust pipes far too long Unsure: 5K instead of 3k? (Non matching numbers) Venetian? Cut guards? Front aprin? Fender mirrors? 25mm hole in firewall for stereo cables? 5 speed conversion? (hole in floor not perfect) Smaller sports steering wheel? Holes cut in inner doors dor speaker install? Glove box removed for CD player? Under diff exhaust? Stereo installed in boot? (Bolted heavily) I call him a prick because their is no real need to defect my car. If you can name a reason why its a hazard to anyone else on the road then ill take it back, the car doesn't ever travel over 90km/h. Ive had officers pull me over before and have commented on how good the car looks, yes its obvious its illegal but its not hurting anyone. The other reason hes a prick, why on earth would he use 'scare tactics' saying he could cube my car? on what grounds? I was simply driving to work doing nothing wrong, i never 'hoon' I'm actually ok with the car being defected its my own fault for the modifications, but i don't wish to be treated like a hoon for doing nothing wrong.

Thanks for the support guys. I'm just so pissed off right, I was simply driving to work wasn't doing anything wrong and I got a prick cop. I have no idea what brought on the cubing comment but I didn't want to make the situation worse. I'm going to have a go at getting it through, it's just lots of little things. I'll be needing some other wheels and I'm not sure where I stand on things like my stereo in boot and my rear guards being cut? It's just going to take some time and money.

Seems to be the end for my ke20 at the moment, it has just been defected for too low and increase in track. So I'm screwed. Only comment the officier had was "your lucky I'm not having this cubed"

I have the same wheel. i brought it for $8 off ebay :) Although mine came of an XB ford. Does it have quite a bit of dish on the wheel?

Its real pricey in stores around the $350 mark. Gotta have the hook up! ;) Ive got two packs in my car!
