Were talking Toyota's here, their not exactly considered to be classic just yet, along with that point most people would prefer to drive something they think looks better than to preserve the 'originality' of something. Yes grandpa style has been done but it still looks good, and yes it does give of view of being original even though in most cases its not. Also keep in mind whitewalls were factory options back in the day, and being that they were quite unpopular her in Australia it means very few cars were rocking them when they came out. I sold my KE20 for 10 times what i paid for it with wide 13" rims and whitewalls, not exactly original there...

Why do people like big fu*k off chromies that clearly do not fit a car correctly? Like everyone has said a personal preference. Ive had walls on every car ive owned in the past 6 years or so and i was doing it before it was popular again, more than likely ill keep doing it too! If you want to stop the negative posts then first off you need to speak correctly. I'm sure you can manage that, its not going to take much longer to complete words and use paragraphs. Second still to talking about the car not what you do in it. Any talk of illegal activities on a public forum is never a good idea. Other than that look after the car and people will respect you for that.

Yep this car is worth selling the other two, its seriously clean and i couldn't be happier with it. 90% chance i will be going for something watanabe/minilite/superlite style. Possibly Koing rewinds? Charcol center with polished lip somewhere in the range of 15x7 0 offsett. I want to fit 15 x 8's but i need to do some test fitting and measuring first! Your right the walls don't suit it 100%, but if i had to choose between walls or nothing i would choose the walls. When i first put them on i hated them! But they have grown on me. Only put them on since i wont be able to afford wheels for a few months.

Been busy with my Celica lately, i have: Painted wheels silver Installed whitewalls (until i can afford some wheels) Moved CD player into glovebox New parcel shelf with some 6"s (just to give me some sound, i don't want to cut the perfect door trims!) Painted grille and front end surrounds General tidy up of interior and engine bay I'm entering toyoshow next week so ill be tidying it up alot before then hopefully! Heres the pictures:

Turned out being a faulty line behind the 'heater' line in the fuse box. It kept blowing out the fuse. Strange how it effected all the dials though? Anyway all fixed thanks guys!

Hey guys just had a big day of working on my RA23. Ill explain whats going on now: The charge light when running is 'half-lit' but when i pull up the handbrake it turns to 'full-lit' and all my dials die? How wierd is this? I have already changed the alternator as i thought that might be dead. Then got access to a volt-meter and i am getting just above 13V while running? Has anyone got any ideas what this might be? Is something draining power? Bad earth maybe?

Celica's were my first cars so i love them and i know how good these things can look! Your right on the fender mirror bit too, it shouldn't get picked on for them, my KE20 didn't. Ohh i can't afford them, I'm in some debt at the moment and thats why I'm selling my mazda and will have my red vw for sale shortly. I'm a Exercise Practitioner (good personal trainer), i make ok money but its very up and down. Sure did! Lets just say i could probably sell it for double what i paid...

I got lucky, he didn't have it advertised anywhere else apart from his house, he had 60 calls about it last week and had several people coming back next week with cash. I had a quick look, went home borrowed some cash (thats bro) and drove straight back their and it was then mine. Got it for a fantastic price, these things are worth a fair amount these days! Especially in this condition, too me its one in a million.

Spend a little time on my red vw lately, got my graphics (stripes and Numbers) and they look awesome. Stripes were a nightmare and didnt turn out well but it goes well with the overall theme. Started to matte back the paint, still need a little more rubbing on boot and a couple spots. Wheels also painted black and decided not to run hubcaps. Also no rear bumper!
