Well I'm considering doing this to my wheels for my celica: Reason being is although i love the silver it kinda looks like every other celica out there! I want to do something that will make the car my own and stand out from the others. The walls are very much myself and the red center is very much JDM spec (and their sportmax so who gives a shit haha) Original Picture for comparison: Also please keep in mind this is a crappy photochop!

If they get too much attention then ill cut them. RA22 is the american model, different engine, bumpers etc.

I might give it a bit of a trim to get it a little more po po friendly. Haven't decided yet. Will get replaced by a GT badge when i find one :blinks:

Took a couple of quick snaps tonight as the light was dying down. Been pretty busy doing some smaller things. Changes are: -New GT grill (taken apart, polished and mesh painted gloss black) -New Full exhaust (Pacemaker extractors, 2" straight through muffler into 2 x 2" stainless pipes) -New premium slimline black number plates -Stripped back tail light surrounds -Removed rear 'LT' and '2000' badges, filled holes and painted the filler panel gloss black -Polished and repainted headlight surrounds -Stripped back and polished quarter window vents -Painted wipers and front vent

Ive seen this around hindmash! Must work around there?

Yep its darker, i couldnt get the paint matched perfect so it will do for now. Getting a few things touched up so it will be redone then. Just a few more minor things, exhaust goes on this week, new plates and a few other minor bits and pieces.

Decided to take a couple photos today, still waiting on my GT grill and a couple other bits and pieces before i take some good photos. Mirrors were silver but it wasen't doing it for me so i painted them a dark charcol. Rear end will be coming down a little lower but at the moment it rubs hard, need the guards rolled first! Overall pretty subtle fitment so i shouldnt get into too much trouble with police (fingers crossed).

They feel great at the moment, although i could do with some good shocks as these are too long now. Stiffness wise as i had explained to me by Ryan (SLO-030) i wouldnt go higher than 5kg for a street car as it puts alot of load through every suspension component of the car. I can't see any reason why you would go higher unless its a track car. Mines stiff so i reduce a little travel as my wheels hit the guards.

What are you? Like 14? If you need a car to get your balls sucked your doing something wrong.

All about money! KE70/AE71 will be much cheaper and easier to get, parts are pretty easy too. TA22 on the other hand will cost you alot to get a good one (expect minimal 3k for a good one) and parts are a little harder but still pretty easy these days. If you have the cash TA22 all the way they rock, Ive got an RA23 and there isn't a corolla in the world i would swap it for (but I'm biased towards celicas as they were my first car).

15x8 0 offsett with 195/50/15 and 15x7 +7 (spacer) with 175/55/15 Horrible iPhone Picture. Now low on custom made springs (5kg all round) but the front will be coming down another 10mm. and new front lip (colour isnt perfect buts its good enough until i have it redone in a few weeks) Will be taking good pictures ones shes got her genuine fender mirrors and all cleaned up :laff:

2psi? haha no ill actually drive around at a reasonable height, the front is looking to be just air shocks anyway so hopefully it should ride really nice.

Absolutely no chance of being picked on for no bumpers. You'll never be able to tell unless your very familar with type 3's. It will just look like any other car to normal people. I think ill have more chance of being defected for the height and the airbags don't you think?

No the late model RX4's and 929's had the 'merc front', the early models had the pointy front. This wagon was sold a while back i hope its still going strong.

Seems that way doesn't it? Paint flat white No bumpers all round Fill all holes etc and relocate indicators and the big one: AIRBAGS! They do standard but I'm going for a different look with this car and running no bumpers.

No not over 20's, but these just seem to pop up for the right price. I'm having some fun with this one. Now that my good brown one is sold the RA23 will have some money thrown at it!
