Been a while since ive done anything with the celica, I'm slowly moving forward to making it a GT replica, this week i have purchased a parts car for the 5 speed and other manual gear, as well as this baby: So plans are take off road, engine, gearbox and diff swap, make custom coilovers, new front lip (old one is shit) and then drive for a while until i can afford paint.

I keep all mine in a shoe box. Alot from various cars, lately alot from my celica, never actually called anyone however.

Yup headed back to my parents house to fix my starter, will have to sit there until i sort it out. Driving my merc in the mean time.

Thats my next plan, but for that i need a right angle drill and need to cut down a drill piece. Its so damn tight in there with the steering arms, exhaust and inlet manifold. So if i have to i will, but i would like to avoid it for now :)

Well i got the bosch to physically fit, but i wouldn't bolt it up. Are there different mounts from bosch to Nippon?

Hey guys my starter motor just died in my ke20. I picked up a bosch one out fo a ke30 as I thought it would just bolt it but it uses larger 10mm bolts that won't for through my bellhousing! Are there different types of starter motors for corollas throughout the years?

No this is taking most daily duties while i convert the celica to 5 speed and while I'm fixing up my corolla. Currently have: Rear bags Valves Gauges

It must be fair low if your hitting the bump stops all the time, my old 20 was pretty low in the rear and I didn't hit bump stops very often at all. See:

The stance already looked good man, i wouldn't of lowered the rear anymore, if it was me i would of pulled the front down an inch. I would raise it back up, there is no cost effective method to fix it, your just smashing on the bump stops again and again, some super short shocks might help but its never going to be remotely comfortable. The car may be headed that way anyway, still not 100% with what i want to do, I'm leaning towards a proper rebuild in jdm spec. The reason why I think it works is its very period correct, the grille and lights came from a TA22 which happens the be the exact year as a KE20, also both Toyota.

I've got a spare grille too, I could have a play with it. I want to play around with something to get it looking spot on. I worked my ass off to get them on today, had work this afternoon so moved fast! Damn heat!!

Sure are! Got a heap of 22 stuff today to sell so grabbed the entire headlight assembly and grille. I just noticed how wonky the grille is, thats because its currently held on by cable ties haha.

Done! Not finished yet, i still need to tidy them up and make some adjustments. Need to paint the surrounds and make up a filler panel for the little gap. Overall pretty happy with it, very different! What colour should i paint the grille?

God it was hot, i was sweating my ass off. Raped that car, got everything i wanted for $160. Not bad considering the GT vents should be worth at least 150-200 alone.

Atlas whitewalls are quite hard and therefore have a tendency to mark the sidewall due to rubbing. In no way would it be possible for them to rub through the entire sidewall.

Mine was a late model ami one and it had the strip. I thought it looked great. I'm pretty sure it can still be brought and cut to length to suit any car? The old celica's has the same strip.

Use eagle one tire and wheel cleaner and the walls will stay crisp white, they need looking after and regular cleaning. Wait at least one month before getting them done on brand new tires.

Sweet I'll see if i can enter my RA23 and KE20? Their both average at the moment but I don't think their crazy strict?
