  1. shit this thing is so nice.
  2. I seen the corvair on ebay today, couldn't believe it. This better be good if your selling that ;)
  3. Sorry guys couldn't make it. Had too much on tonight, night cruise would of been good.
  4. Yup I live down there. Knew it was you right away, bima looked AMAZING. I absolutly love that thing.
  5. Yes much more common on TE27's, suits the shape a little nicer. Doesn't mean it can't be done on a KE20, and they are defiantly period correct. The whitewalls are 'painted' on the tires. Someone grinds a minor amount from the sidewall then paints liquid rubber on the tire. Quite common over here, although most have them on standard wheels.
  6. Possible depending on time and location? I've got my 20 with me.
  7. My car looked the goods with them. But i haven't seem many other KE20's that can pull of flares. Due to their shape their not naturally a sporty car, I've never liked them the same colour as the car. The only reason mine looked good was because they were black. Troy
  8. There is no option to go to the rim with 'painted walls', he can do up to 1" thick usually. The walls that go to the rims are known as whitewall inserts or 'flappers', they sit between the tire and the rim itself.
  9. Quick update, got hold of a set of amber spotlights and an early model steering wheel. Made up some brackets to fit the spotlights so i didn't have to drill holes in the bumper.
  10. Steel wheels can be redrilled to 4x110 quite easily. Frank has done a bunch of them. Easier option than converting.
  11. It's baby pee yellow! It should come up ok. It's n
  12. not a chance this hasn't been driven in a while, and differently not rusty!
  13. First Pictures up, just gave it a wash. Few dents and scratches but pretty clean, original paint and almost no rust. Stone guard needs to be straightened as well as try to knock out a couple dents but pretty happy with it. Plans: -Double Walls -Lower (not mental) -tidy up! (really needs a polish, paint is a little faded) Currently: -Rebuilt 3k (may have had some heads work done, goes well and sounds good) -4 speed -extractors -exhaust -CD player (cut dash fuuuuuccckkk) will be moved to glove box and thats it! Tidy car that hasn't been messed with that just needs some tlc.
  14. haha not quite, no huge plans. Staying stock :)
  15. I own a KE20. again. Thats all. (stay tuned for details and pictures within a couple days)
  16. might come down in my ra23?
  17. I got like 50 pictures. I only put one up I'm sure she won't mind haha.
  18. Found a great new photospot today. Updates on merc: - Curb feelers - Polished the metal work - Bowls hat - CD player in glove box Fixes: - Fixed indicators - Dash lights - Electric Arial (Spelling?) and the bumper polishing:
  19. Dust proof? I don't get it? I much prefer the flat ones, later ones remind me of less cool merc's. Fantastic if you have them we will work something out with the spots perhaps. Troy
  20. Just need to find me some tail lights, the earlier flat ones are alot nicer than mine. As far as bags go it might take 3 or 4 months to get everything and work out how I'm going to install everything. Not an easy job and damn expensive too.
  21. Ahh the tail-lights I need to steal! p.s. the Volvo rocks in a ugly Volvo way.
  22. fark yes. Very tempting. however.... This is a friends car, hes helping me bag mine too. Check the mesh stone guard.
  23. I'm replacing the spotties with either more period specific ones (these look too 80's?) or old school stone guards more than likely. (ill find a picture if you want) Heres a quick couple snaps with the walls, the car is very dirty in the pictures as its been raining.
  24. Sounds good, I'm pretty photo orientated too. Mines a daily also. Sounds interesting, i want to see how it turns out!
  25. No worries spots are all yours. What look are you going for? I'm going for the 'Driving back from downs club but like to blow peoples mind by dropping it on its guts' Shoot sounds like a great idea, Doctor (above) is a photographer so I'm sure he wouldn't mind. No idea on springs either? Would industrial springs possible make a set? Maybe not.
