Yeah street tyres are a waste of time on the track, i run semi slicks all the time as i find the extra traction is great and i don't mind paying a little extra for the grip. My cousin ran a 11.9 with slicks and that was with just 180kw and standard hi flowed T25 which i thought was very impresive. You'll definatley run low 11s with slicks i reckon , I'm hopeing for hi to mid 11's with my car if the standard fj box holds up. |blink|

Hey Olskool here are the pics i mentioned, You can see the difference between Ke30 arm (bottom) and RA60 arm (top). The Ke30 arm has more of an angle on the arm itself and also the hole in the center is in the middle were as the celica arm is straighter and the center hole is more to one side. This causes the celica steering arm to bring the whole strut in more and gives you positive camber as when it all bolts up it sits further in to begin with.The next thing is that the bolt holes on the celica arm are 3mm further apart than the corolla arm, thats why i got a machineing shop to illongate holes and fit sleeves in with a small lip on them like the standard arms have as its important that they locate the strut in place when bolted up. With out those rased lips the strut would have no support and only the bolts to hold it in place. If you have a look at both arms together you will also see that the corolla arm is thinner and also has a straight angle to it intead of the 45 degree angle of the celica's. If you have a look at both together you will see the differences and then you can see what needs to be done. Hope this helps |blink|

Yeah Ben definatley took it to the next level, as ive seen your car go through several stages as i use to get scott to tune my old R31 skyline and saw your car there a few times and spoke to ben aswell. Sleepers are cool and don't attract attention from the autorities as much but eventually ill go in the same direction as your car as i too love the look of big rims on a retro old skool car. Have you run the car at wsid since you've had it ? I think Ben ran a 11.2 or there abouts which is very fast. Hope to see you at the cruze and good luck at power cruse. |blink|

I was at that photo shoot recently at rose hill with my Ke30 corolla, i wanted to have a closer look at your ride as sleepers get me excited but didn't get a chance to come say hi. |blink| I was also at toy mods show a few months back were i first saw your car . What turbo are you running as it looks similar to my GT28/71R ? If your keen to come to this upcoming cruze ive organised to terrigal on march 9th, it would be great to have you there . ;)

Your car was what inspired my cousin to build his KE20 we spoke to the original owner who built it years ago wally ,he gave us an insight into the conversion and thats how we got started. It would be great to have you there , will your mate come in the Ke26 wagon that was at the meet up aswell, it looked clean as. :)

Looks good olskool, love the cam covers :) I used RA60 struts in my car and it all bolted up but i had positive camber even with camber adjusters, so i got original corolla ke30 steering arms and got them machined out and custom sleeves put in that illongated the holes 3mm which then allowded the RA60 struts to bolt to the Ke30 steering arm. Then with the camber adjusters set as far as possible inward i ended up with -1 degree negetive camber. If you need pics let me know. :(
