You guys are awesome! thanks heaps :) i just have another query: would the standard AE92 Corolla nuts fit the Landcruise bolt? is the thread pitch the same? by looking at the photo provided they seem to be..
-
Hi Everyone, i am after extra long Lug bolts for my AE92 Corolla they are for the rear wheels, because i had to fit 5mm spacers in the back so that the 17' wheels fit, the nuts "just" fit. spacers weren't required for the front they fit just fine, for peace of mind i would need longer bolts than the stock bolts for the rear. where can i get them? the rear brakes are drum. please help me out. thanks heaps! :)

very nice Levin! i forget, what engine was on this model??
-
very nice AE82! love the rims :) to be honest there seems to be less n less of these Ae82 Hatches around, this was a very underrated model too, witht he right suspension would it could match or out do the B16 Civic.

^^thanks! ;) yeah i couldnt help it i wanted 17' wheels real bad i wanted that stability felt in sports coupes :D it's already got central locking/alarm it has cruise control believe it or not! :) as for exhaust, for now I'm gna get an aftermarket Tip. Engine is the last thing i will do. 3SGTE is very temping and requires lots of Hands on work..at this stage I'm thinking something very rare, like a 7afe turbo.. 4AGE 20V of course is an option, but its also a very common conversion ;) but I'm looking at working on the prelude next year, so the corolla will be my daily driver, so the 7AFE is a very likely option for this rolla. i have a 7AFE in the 95 conquest, and i love the engine response, its light and responsive, power wise lacking but consistent.. It wont be a rolla i'd be redlining daily, but its a car I'm building for the sheer pleasure of driving one of toyotas most successful corollas, but at the same time it needs "decent" grunt under the hood.

so anyway, i got the gauges.. i bought: Ammeter Oil pressure Water temp i am having 2nd thoughts about the ammeter(due to horrible dash fire stories), so i'm gna buy the volt gauge later and hook it up :) this is how i inted to place them, i still need to make a face plate to cover the gaps: next up was to actually fit my rims on. i will lower the car later when i buy some lovell springs.. i wish to keep it simple and sleek, as for exterior work this is almost it, the only things left for exterior is - Blue Brake calipers - Darkest legal window tint - spray the bit between the tail lights black - Lowered springs i will update more later as i work on the car.

slowly working on the interior.. black Dash faceplate, leather gear cover.. Next i needed to the the Apron just below the headlights..it was dented. so from: in between removint eh dented apron... to.. next i need to get some lug nuts to fit the Lenso Muse Wheels on :jamie: then get a boss kit for a steering wheel

with the AE92, you can never go wrong with the 4AGE 20V + decent set of extractors you'd laugh while you drive it!

good find!! with a newer motor this thing should be heaps fun especially with the fulltime 4wd! unfortunately they don't have the other shape one..there's the AE94 sedan in Japan looks exactly like the AE92 sedan but its 4wd! get the 4age 20V then turbo it:P haha

Hi Everyone, I have always been a big fan of the AE92 sedan with the Black Bumpers, my dad owned one when i was a little boy back in the early 1990's and the car grew on me since... i recently bought one and i may have been stung by the mod bug..my every fortnight when i get paid i start to hunt for parts.. so anyway here's the car when i bought it: (i apologise about picture size) the very 1st thing that i did was change the Dash equipment, the car didnt have a tachometer, so i sourced one from the wreckers and swapped it, of couse i took the speedometer apart and trasferred the original Kms here it is fitted with the tachometer. i have also removed the cd player from the top, i intend to put it in the lower compartment, i wish to use the upper compartment for Volt gauge, water gauge and oil gauge(i will do this once i decide which engine i will swap into the car) I'm used to using the foggies on my prelude so foglights on the corolla was emminent: next on the list i wanted to add a set of 17' Lenso Muse to the car, i havent fitted them on yet.. i will post more photos as i go along, i really wish to pull it off as a true sleeper, i'm even thinking along the lines of 3SGTE, but i wont go that crazy, i wish to go for an actual 4 cylinder engine e.i 4AGE 20V, 7AFE..

Nice to see another Ae92 Sedan!! the car looks tops man, keep it up  just an idea, if you could get the lip kit from the AE92 Gti, it would enhnace the font heaps! Edit: just had a closer look, you got it!
-
Ni rolla mate! lowering it would definitly enhance the final look  those are 17' rims yeah? how did you get them to fit? any rubbing issues at all?
-
so how much did the swap end up costing ascides engine n gearbox price?
-
oh ok, Kool! but how much would a 7AFE go for these days? i got a quote from Ichiban for 4AGE Blacktop 20V + 5spd manual gearbox: $1300 Ichiban i don't think stocks the 7afe  and how much would a 4AGE swap in an AE92 usually cost? like just the manual labour ascides engine price. what about the 7AFE? how much? i can barely find out advertised for sale
-
While we are on the topic, would a 7AFE fit the 91 CS easy or would you need custom mounts n other mods?
-
get the 20V silvertop or blacktop... the rolla shall fly!

Nick name: yuvi Real name: Hans White 95 Corolla Conquest sedan
-
hey how much did the conversion cost you?? coz I'm also looking at a 7AFE setup for my AE92
-
hi everyone, is the 7AFE 1.8L an easy fit into an AE92 Corolla?? 1990 AE92 Corolla CS sedan to be precise. has anyone done it before? i already have a 7afe in my current rolla and really like the engine so..I'm looking at buying one and do a swap in the AE92 gna be handing the AE102 over to my sis.
-
see how they made sorta like a spaceframe chassis for the rear..it makes the car lighter..if this is certified by an engineer would this be street legal as a daily driver car?
-
Hi, I'm just wondering, would the rear differential and 4wd drive train fit the AE94 corolla sedan?? in Japan the AE94 sedan is 4wd, would that be the same in Australia?
-
Hi guys, i know in Japan the AE94 Corolla Sedan is 4wd.. but was this corolla available here in Australia?? there is AE94 here in AUS..but is it 4wd?
