Had the same problem in my ke30. Put a ke70 5speed in and then my clutch wasnt working So i just cut down my clutch cable. Put a dob of weld on the end and done Hasnt broken yet

Hey thanks guys. Has been a lot of work. But its not perfect Still some more to finish off. Just fix the rear wheel cylinders as they were leaking and had to double pump the breaks to stop. Those seat arnt bad better then the stock ones i think. Gday every one, Well my ke30 is now on the road. Took a little longer due to injury but got there in the end Here is some some photos Motor and gear box is out of a ke70. Has a 32/36 weber jetted down for the 4k with custom air filter set up seat are out of a suzki swift Full boot install just not finished yet just need one more sub and a amp to run it all heres a pic of my ke30 basher. i got bogged last week end

Its in the FAQ. But yes the k40 gearbox is stonger due to having less gears. IF you drive any thing like you stole it. it will break. correct me if I'm wrong Cheers Jamie
