Does anyone have any information on putting a 20V into a KE? A friend of mine is about to under-go the conversion and he wanted to know whathe's in for...

Got me a poo-brown AE71. Story goes my mate Jonezee bought this off a Granny, got it defected, got lazy and sold it to me for $500 all canaried. Took a weeks worth of bringing it up to regency spec and it passed first shot, HYPED! All outta rego, I took it home, put it on jack stands and spent some money on it... I thought as much, before I get flamed I did have a good look around. I found plenty of info on 4AGE and a bit on 4AC but nothing on the 4KC. So was just hoping someone could point me in the right direction before flaming me.

Thinking of getting myself an Auto KE70 as I can't find a good condition manual one. Was just wondering what will be needed for the conversion... The obvious being: -Gearbox -Clutch, clutch cable -Pedal Box -Flywheel, spigot bearing? What else am I missing? And are there any good (trusted) workshops in Adelaide that'd want to take on this job? I don't have the resources for doing it myself.

If it's all signed over to him and it's fully payed for I don't think there's much the cops can do...

My mates got 12AT RX7 and thing goes. I reckon a 12A KE70 would fly courtesy of the power to weight ratio. 13B would be nuts...and most likely illegal :D
