hey i was wonderin? does anyone have any pics of customized door trims? i made a brand new one out of 6mm masonite and i'm stuffed for ideas on how to wrap it!

Thats cool. as it happens my mother works for ATAP which delivers auto parts. So shes gettin me a set of nolathane bushes or watever they are called. well performance ones anyway.

shackle rubbers? me dumb dumb give me gum gum! what do they do? could that be why my rear suspension is a bit squishy and everything has become to sound loose?

i have no idea how big the thermo is lol the thermo fan itself is straight off of a early 90's camry.. u pull it job. i'm hopin it'll look good got alot of dents to smooth out though. oh well.

Hey i only just really joined up with rollaclub, and i thought i should put my progress up! firstly i have a KE55 sedan 1980. I'm a uni student so i'm finding the whole project thing quite difficult, but i work at a painting solution factory so a cheap paintjob is in order!! here she is.... was yellow now undercoat. new exhaust... 2inch straight through from extractors sports wheel feels nice! Clarion stereo all round. very loud and very clear! noisy boot though!! :o biiiig battery in the boot other mods are 52mm tacho mounted where the clock used to be. Keyless entry Standard 4K with 3K head, ramflo, and davie craig thermo set up. tell me what you think?

and how exactly do you do that?

Hey i'm buying a new aftermarket fuel guage for my KE55 sedan. The only thing is that i need to know the OHM resistance of a KE55 sender? Does anyone know this already? or will i have to buy myself a multimeter?

Thats awsome! I'm looking to do the same conversion! what were the main problems? i've read the sump one but how did you get around it? and also ive heard there are problems with the gearbox? any help or links to another thread would be great.

don't know for sure.... when i replaced the head i beleive the head i pulled off was a 3k, sooo maybe the thermostat housing is also 3K? not sure. i've decided to get an aftermarket fuel guage and water temp guage and mount them in the console and replace the old ones with a big tacho.

shoulda seen my thermostat it was sooo degraded the body was sideways and the spring was just sittin in the bottom of the housin lol got a new one in and the car ran warmer cos when i got it it was always icy cold lol :wink:

Ok thanks i will try the aftermarket guage. I took the car through the adelaide hills last night and with heaps of thrashing it was ok. i did find though that the guage read hot after going up a long hill. so maybe a hill stresses the motor heaps? Also how long did your motors last with the superchargers? how much? and what was the power gain?

Hey thanks heaps. i just installed a thermo and davie craig switch. car seems to be better but it still gets hot at 100k's i've been thinkng for a while that the temp guage was funny. is there any way just to upgrade the one that is already in the dash? as i want to keep the interior original.

The thing is.... i have had the motor rebuilt! so there isn't any problems there. the car seems to have its good days and bad days! i don't know what i'm going to do one suggestion was to get the cooling system professionally flushed! $90 ish for that much i could get the bigger radiator and another fan. which would allow me to do the motor up at some other stage. Just lookign for suggestions.

Hey just a quick question! Did you cut thr front of the car to allow more air flow? and also should a thermo fan sit on the inside or outside? also should it be pushing or pulling the air? Mine is on the inside and its pulling the air in from the outside..... just tryin to make sure i git it right!

Hey all I'm new to this! I'm looking to do a very simple radiator upgrade! I hava a KE55 standard motor. I've been looking around and i'm thinking of a radiator out of a AE92 corolla as they are longer and thinner than original! Also can put a second thermo on! Has anyone done this? Also how hard is it to mount a new radiator. Also battery is in the boot Cheers
