Nah just as easy to let toll truck it up, and abuse them over the phone if they damage it which they wont... The car also now has new bushes and brakes to cruise on..

Means taking time off work. And I'm in one of those jobs where you have to provide itinerary's of how many k's you travel, where you are staying etc and only allowed a certain amount of driving per day.... Nice to know they care... :P

No one really noticed it was a cyclone, most of the damage was due to flooding that happened BEFORE the actual thing turned into a Cyclone. That kinda GMG,apart from we all just have to be happy that it wasn't a major thing anyway.

Ah. Was going to say my uncle just had a shed that was probably just a tad bit bigger then that but with a roof tall enough for Trucks and industrial which costed nowhere near that price. Then again it is easier to get a shed up when you already own the dirt underneath it ;) . Tell the wife its a good investment :P

Nothing. Toll does it for free because I'm in the army and have an entitlement to one. All I have to do is tell Toll and they sort out all the details :P Only problem is that some people in Defence seem to be having issues lately with damages or just simply massive waits.

Simple update. Making small adjustments to the car so that its all good for a while when I bring it up to Darwin. So far all I have done is new tyres and brakes, and now tinting :P . All thats left is to redo the A/C and ship it up!

WGMG: Some dipstick complained to my head supervisor that I don't do anything and just read books. So got taken into the office by my immediate supervisor and had to listen to him go on for 10-20 minutes on how he knows I work but I have to seem like I'm doing work even when there is nothing to do. Ended up with him just asking me if I thought I should point anything out, so I pointed out the fact that yes, I was reading books... During lunch time. The fact some one has complained about that and bought in something out of context is annoying. Should give them more work to do so they keep their mouths shut!

Shooting I do for free so not really gonna bother with that. Figured out stuff to do during the day, just the night thats really boring in Darwin. Ohwell, getting chucked keys and told I'm desi for mates is alright for the time being. Atleast I get to drive now :P

Ok so apart from Drinking... What is there to even do in Darwin? Been up here for a couple of months now and since I've given up drinking for a while I'm getting bored as all hell. Any suggestions? Also I don't have a car up here yet, might be part of the problem.

Haha it was the petrol 2.6 lol. However my uncle has been collecting Roo's with his VN again so he is borrowing it at the moment. Which KE? Also Raven cheers for the concern, planning on making sure its in writing on Monday when the car is dropped off.

Yeah thats the one thing I have been pushing on to make sure it will be covered as I will be in another state. So as the person my dad has been arranging it through has said, they are going through it with a fine tooth comb as if something goes wrong they are going to be paying a fortune for someone else to fix what normally is stocked in their store and with their labour.

Hmm no I didn't Raven. I was under the impression it destroyed itself as some twat before me did a rebuild with Ecotec gear that snapped under the boost. In that case I may simply keep it until the warranty almost drops out. Leaves me with a year to find something old school with A/C, as my corollas are staying in SA.
