What a great story this car is. Now it's been displayed at a Toyota 50th Anniversary! That is brilliant. You should be proud as punch mate. I would LOVE to see pics of the rest of the cars that were displayed. The classics I mean. If you have any or access to any as you mentioned above, perhaps start a new thread somewhere with them? And a link here to the thread would be great so I don't miss it :locked: Your Crown RULES !!!!

Spotted nickyboy sitting at the lights on Goodwood Road at 7pm tonight behind a blue Hachi Roku. Was like Rolla heaven. I was driving my mother somewhere at the time and she was very impressed by your car Nick. Big :locked: from her.

Spotted a white KE20 on Saturday at 12:15pm on a trailer on Marion Rd crossing Daws Rd intersection heading South. Does someone have a new project?

Those two cars look amazing together mate. You should be very proud. Fender mirrors on the wags look awesome and chrome ones will simply be porn!

spotted a *E7* pano in white at Anzac Highway Glenelg at 8:30 tonight and also a mate spotted a bright orange KE10 up at Woodside yesterday. Reckons it looked sweet. I wanna see pics of it please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone?????

Hehe.......... I still have drums all round also. It adds a little bit of uncertainty to every drive. :( We almost wiped out 3 of these cars on Bay to Birdwood day when the 5 of us were following each other up to Birdwood. Front cars stopped as we headed into one of the towns on the way up and the back three of us were caught unaware. I was 2nd to last and pulled right and locked the brakes heading onto the wrong side of the road and missing the back of whoever was in front at the time. Then I look in the rear view to see Stefan also panicking, but luckily he was quick enough to pull left and do the same heading onto the verge. It was a close call. Would have been a shame to ruin 3 of these cars or perhaps 4 if we had all pushed further forward into the one in front again. Good times. :no2:

Hehe..... same coin, two sides. I'm with TUFFKE20 though. Let that sweet interior be seen. Also I don't like tint on any classic cars. I reckon it looks way too 80's. My FB Holden surfy wags had tint, but that was a looooong time ago and it still seemed okay back then. ;) TUFFKE20 - My tip.... do as you have planned........ get the seats and exhaust sorted, lower it and enjoy! By the way.. this is a wicked car for someone who is still yet to get their full licence. Well done.

Mate this car is bloody nice! I have seen pics of it somewhere before. Have you had it on eBay? I can't recall exactly, but I know I liked it then too. If I were you I would hold onto it, finish it off and use it as a weekend cruiser when you get your full licence. I love the white interior. Gives it that crystal clear window look that I love so much. Please don't tint the windows!

Holy crap! I hadn't looked at this thread in ages. This bike looks freakin wicked. Right on the money and those pegs are a perfect addition. Love how you're already talking about the "next bike" too. Classic. Good to meet ya the other day mate..... keep up the work on this bike. Once it's on the road you just need to find a pub that has a record player so you can do time trials to a set place and back before the song finishes. :)

I don't reckon the lip will suit the wags. Will make it look too front heavy? Hmmmm....... would be good to see one rigged up there for a look though. Hard to visualise. Don't reckon it will go with the walls and venetian. Although you pulled that looks off on the 20 with a lip, venetian and walls and that car looked effing sick! Yeh maybe just don't listen to me cos I dunno what I'm talking about. :P

Looks sweet. Not sure if I like the port-a-walls on it. Would like to see it with double whites as a comparison. Not really a value for money exercise though I guess. So easy to do though I guess. Jeez you must keep John in business with port-a-wall purchases. I have them on the Stout and my Corty but I went with Derrel whitewalls for the Rolla cos I didn't think they would suit. Although they looked killer on your 20. So hard to decide. Oh and by the way..... curb feelers are the tits. Love 'em. A great excuse to have a little bit more chrome on a car. :P They will look awesome on the wagon. I think the walls will grow on me too.

Never seen a granny spec car with a strut brace before :D Neat rig mate. Nice to hear someone admit they are not into the car for the drift scene. Seems that everyone that gets a Esev thinks they have to say they want to drift it just to fit in. Also be aware there is another "red rocket" in Adelaide. Can't remember his username but it's a 35/55 coupe.
