Spotted a white KE20 tonight on Morphett Road outside Army barracks at 7:55pm. Had a black panel across the back between tail-lights. Never seen it before. Only got a glimpse in my rear view mirror as I caught it out the corner of my eye as it went past. Seemed stock, not low or anything.

We could have "Corolla Parking ONLY" signs all down the road. :) Spotted a red KE55 coupe on North Terrace this morning. Not real good condition. Totally original.

yeh thats pretty cool. Sigo's aren't so bad. I had a stocko one owner GH Sigma last year that I bought from Yorke's with only genuine 80,000 k's on it. Plan was to slam it on whites as well but a young fella offered me double what I paid for it and I couldn't refuse. :)

Aerial? Are you crazy? Why drill a hole to put an aerial back on? I had all my holes filled on purpose to clean the car up. I think aerials are ugly ugly ugly. There are other options these days in order to get radio reception. Same with my badges etc.... all holes filled. Cleeeeeaaaaaaan. Just my style though. I gotta say I am very happy to see this project moving forward again. Seems the thought of coming to Adelaide for a big KE1x orgy (I mean photoshoot/cruise) has got you motivated. :)

Looking at a open inspection just round the corner. That friggin massive block with hugh jarse gravel driveway all down the right hand side. Was just thinking how big car garage I could fit on there. :jamie: House no good for me though.

saw nickyboy and his mate in the blue Datto 1000 stopped in a side street (won't say where), at 2pm today, talking window to window. Datto on wrong side of road. Seeing the two cars together was awesome.

spotted an Orange KE20 heading north on South Rd past Castle Plaza at 5:55pm today. Nothing amazing abouth the car except it was a 20 and Orange, but not low, no walls, no venetian. Just looked stock and slightly shabby. Driver had the most facial hair I have ever seen coupled with quite a lot of head hair. Was hard to tell where hair and beard began and ended.

yep totally agree with seabiscuit..... everyone I know thats into classic cars has had a story or two similar to this, but to be honest it will make you appreciate it even more once it's on the road...... and...... it will ensure that you take awesome care of the car because you've had to pump plenty of hard earned into it.

yeh it looked wicked when you went past me on the road just after the start line. Disappointed I didn't get to have a close up look at it though. I'm sure I will get to see it some time soon though.

Yeh I'm with that and that has always been my motto too, hence I have two cars that there are bugger all of in this country. As for the 11 though.... well that kinda didn't work out so different. Firstly no-where near as rare and also...... there are at least 6 others in SA that look pretty much exactly the same as mine. :y: The rims on that orange one look killer. Yep, reckon they would get some attention from the lads in the white cars with the disco lights, but those little yellow stickers would go nice with the colour of your car anyhow. :y:

Hehe..... on the weekend I had myself and two mates in mine and we are all over 6 foot. Must have looked pretty funny when we all got out. Ahhhhh Mr John. I dunno how I feel about that car to be honest. The chrome is very shiney. I like the bosozoku styles, but I dunno about it on a KE1x. Having said that.......... it's kinda the direction of Troy's car and I freakin' LOVE Troy's car..... in a purely man loves machine kinda way :)

Hey KE11's are one better! :D This talk of Bay to Birdwood 2011 scares me. That is two full years away. God knows what I will own by then. I have never had the same car in Bay to Birdwood twice and I've done 6 of them. Technically the Rolla wasn't entered this year though I guess so perhaps I can allow it another run. :party:

Spotted SoulSearcher waiting to turn right onto Jetty Road at the Bay on Monday afternoon. Was behind another very similar gold Sportivo. Perhaps Karllos ??? They looked good one behind the other.
