from 30 feet maybe :y: Nope that wasn't mine, belonged to a fella by the name of Matt and that was his gf you would have seen driving it. That car got defected for being too low and I don't think it has seen the road since. No no...... I wasn't talking about swapping.... I want both cars. Not too sure what they are off, but they are later model steelies modified to fit the Rolla stud pattern. I like the look of the 14's on there.... just fills the guards a bit better. Got me some scrubbin issues though. Yep, you defo need some walls. Just don't do it on brand new tyres. They seem to bugger up more quickly on brand new tyres. Also, I saw a brown 70/71 on Pulteney Street this morning trying to turn into Bob Jane and holding up traffic at about 8:40am. :)
  3. Not really the best thing to do. As said above, fuel economy decreases and it can also cause plumes of smoke out the exhaust. I accidently left my choke out a couple weeks ago and only noticed when i was flying up south rd hill and looked in my rearview mirror to see huge amounts of smoke coming out the back of my car. I pretty much poo'd myself since I have only just had the motor rebuilt. Then people started beeping at me as they went past and making nasty signals at me. I guess they were thinking that old car shouldn't be on the road. Anyway I realised I had the choke all the way open so shut it off. It still took a while for the smoke to stop coming out the exhaust though. Then when I got to my destination I found black silt all up the back of my car from it. Nice!
  4. you probably wanna check the "WA/Perth" section under "Rollaclub Regional"
  5. bloomin 'eck !!! I just choked on my apple pie. That is one sensational looking two ohh. Everything is spot on and that engine bay is cleeeeeeean !!!!I Would love the interior to be white, but it would be super impractical.
  6. Awesome!
  7. Looks awesome. Pinstripe looks great, as do flappers and caps. Adelaide has several nice 10/11's now.

almost stacked my car this arvo as I was headed into city on Anzac Hwy at about 3:05pm outside Army Barracks. Why you may ask?!?!?!? Simply due to a red KE15 or 17 headed the other way on Anzac. Couldn't believe my eyes.

  15. nah he won't do it without the car.......... jeez it is going to be tough finding someone in Adelaide with a 15 or 17 to do this for you. I don't even know anyone with a 15 or 17 in Adelaide. Maybe you could post him your back window.... :)

Spotted this KE10 today on South Rd heading south at about 2pm. Has a visor also. Kinda makes me wanna raise the 11 up a bit. As I keep saying...... I think not-so-low is the new low. I think this one needs whitewalls though. Check out the white fluffy material covering the dash pad. Pimp Spec. Different one to what I saw Fri night on Rundle Street. Seems like white 10/11's are taking over Adelaide. Muahahahahah!!!!!!!

  23. **UPDATE** - Direct From SMASA Could you guys help with getting this message out. Copy and paste where ever you can. Hi all, Due to the completely overwhelming response to the public meeting/protest, the dates will have to be revised. Since the announcement less than 48hrs ago we have received requests from interstate car clubs, race teams, companies and many individuals who wish to attend in support of our situation in SA. Unfortunately due to the relatively short notice this has made it difficult for them to attend and support us in our fight. As we wish to make the biggest statement possible to the State Government we have decided to revise the dates of the public meeting (was Sunday August 16) and the Protest (was Friday August 28 ) We apologise to those who have organized time off work for the Protest, however in order to maximize the impact and to achieve our desired outcome, this is necessary. I'm sure you all realize how big this Protest is turning out, and we want it to be the best it can be for everyone of us. For future news, developments and the revised dates/times of the protest go to adelaidemotorplex.com.au This page should be up and running in the next few days featuring regular updates. Also visit our facebook page http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=1323...872&ref=nf# if you haven't already. The website is now up and running too - www.adelaidemotorplex.com.au That's all for now and thanks to everyone who wants to make it happen. Regards, The Street Machine Association of South Australia Team. http://smasa.com.au/forum/index.php
  24. Bloody hell...... both those cars are incredible........... congrats mate, you should be really pleased with them. Also, great location for the photo's. What a view!
  25. ^^^ What he said !!! People this is our chance to get something done in Adelaide regarding our lack of motorsport venue. I am a member of SMASA and can tell you this has taken a long time and a hell of a lot of work by some SMASA members and other car and motorsport enthusiasts to get this far. It's now time to vote with our feet. Numbers are what is going to make the biggest impact here and we have to show that this is something that a large amount of people in the community are supporting, NOT just a minority of car hoons. This is not an opportunity for a bunch of idiots to get together in their Commodores and pull skids and make the genuine car enthusiasts of this state look bad as that is the kind of behaviour that has the police in this state acting so tough on anyone modifying a car and also has all of us labelled as hoons by non car enthusiast members of the public. Stupid behaviour at these events will not be tolerated and will be reported to the police as mentioned. This is possibly the only chance we will get to show that car enthusiasts are just average people and want somewhere safe to enjoy their hobby. Get on this people......... it's well worth it.
