  1. :P Steve Irwin now Peter Brock. Both died doing what they loved best. R.I.P Boys.
  2. I agree with Raven about the od school era theory. Hey but that's just me. I hardly get passengers in the rear of my KE25 anyway. What ever works best for you. Bernie-Jay
  3. Last Thursday (July 20th), as I was driving in Footscray I passed a van towing a 4 door KE20. The car was blue in colour & had the doors off. I hope this car doesn't go to waste. The last time I saw one was back in 2003 but that was in the trading post, so I didn't actually see it. I so wish I had a 4 door KE20. I know these are probably as rare as KE25s in Vic. I have a KE25 but really want a 4 door KE20 so I can standout & also fit at least 4 people in the car without having to open my door and fold the seat. Does anybody here on Rollaclub own or know of anyone with a 4 door? Does anyone here own the above mentioned car? Would you depart with it? Bernard-Jay
  4. Really? Cool but the thing is i have no welding skills at all.
  5. Hi guys, I was wondering if there are any wheel shops in Vic that specialise in widening steel rims. If you could point me in the direction it would be greatly appreciated. Preferably near the western or nothern suburbs. Berns
  6. A few months ago i was searching for more info on a 4AG 20v powered KE25. There wasn't much i could find on the car or owner but now have found the car! Yay! I found more info on the car and some pictures to help identify it. I was assuming it was a road car when i read it was dynoed at Chasers, but in fact it is a race car. Found it on Toymods when i was browsing this afternoon. Click on the link below to see the car, http://www.toymods.net/forums/showthread.php?t=6886 Bernie-Jay
  7. Damn that's nice. Looks to be a '71 or'72 model with a '73 grill. Cool find :P . Have fun with it :) . Bernie-Jay
  8. Anyone here on Rollaclub got a KE25 with a 4ag in Melb? Or know of any persons? ( preferably a 20V) Just thinking about the 20V black top conversion in a KE25, would be awesome. 120kW at the wheels in a 750kg body corolla would make one quick car, and that's naturally aspirated with a full interior! :P Now to save some dollars for this type of project. Bernie-Jay
  9. This list below shows dyno results from the Chasers dyno day: I have highlighted the fifth car from the top. A KE25 with a 4AG 20V black top. Does anyone know any information about this car?
  10. The picture of the first generation E10 Corolla is incorrect, Isn't that a Publica? Can someone confirm that. Bernie-Jay
  11. I wouldn't be surprised if they started using the supercharged 2ZZ-GE that they use in the European Corolla. I'll scan in pictures I have from a UK magazine. I assume its supposed to be a Corolla Sportivo. Its done by TTE. The engine is also used by Lotus in their new Exige.
  12. V8 This engine is not a OHC. Notice the cam and the pushrods in the valley. Don't be mistaken by the new Hemi's. This engine looks pretty similar to Gary Myers Hemi powered Ford Mustang.
  13. I believe that's a Chrysler Hemi V8
  14. Early this year, my Dad & I were at a farm in Ballarat & needed to take out a 4K-U out of this old rally KE20. The owner didn't have any equipment. All we had was a 1.5 metre piece of rope. So I searched around the farm & found a long circular wooden beam. So my Dad & I tied the rope to the engine, placed the beam in the loop and lifted the 4K-U out. Simplest way we could get it out. The hardest part of it was walking & trying to balance our steps as the engine swayed with each movement. Thank God it was only a 4k & nothing bigger. :) Bernie-J
  15. I should of asked if you lived in Manila first. If so where abouts? Bernie-J
  16. Hey Starlet82 where do you live in the Philippines? Are you near Makati? Do you have any more info on this car. For those who can understand Pilipino. Pinoy din ako, pero pina anak ako dito sa Australia. I love the Phils. Maybe when I go back there for a holiday I'll get some Corolla parts for myself coz my Dad & Uncle say its real cheap to find original Toyota stuff. Bernie-J
  17. Whoa! Undersized I use 8inch wide rims w/ bridgestone s340 eagers & the local tyre place said they were too small for the rim, even though I'm not allowed to use 8inch. I've even got dunlop 175/50/13 that i was going to use on different mags. I'll assume these are illegal too. Damn RTA rules! I wish i was living in Phils. Bernie-J
  18. All three cars look tuff as. Nice rims on all cars. What is the width & offset of the rear wheels on the KE35? Also what are the tyres? Bernie-J
  19. Hi I'm a new member and having trouble with the 'rides' also. I can't upload any photos. Bernie-J
