Does anyone and everyone wanna go on a cruise in the new year? just baught another twin cam and wanna take it out for a boot. Any ideas and suggestions appreciated

Today i baught a new corolla. in an attempt to relive my teenage years i became the proud owner of a white 1985 twincam corolla. 185000k's. Bargain price $1500. all service history, books and recipts since new.. stoked.! guy i baught it off just got a fancy bmw. just wanted it gone.

shouldnt be an issue if he doesnt want it rego'd at all. id say sr20 personally, got one in my GTiR and that pushes ya back in ur seat no worries. - every mechanic can work on it as opposed to the rotary style motor - and parts are everywhere - also being a slut conversion (used regularly), easy to find info youll need!!! "NIKE" just do it.

please let me know when its done, and details of the issues you face with the engineer... cheers, brenton

23rd of march at 3.30ish 'am'. i was turning right off main north onto montague, seen a white patchy 4 door ke30 or 55? i was in a 2 door bamboo ke30 with 14' hotwires and twin exhaust. anyone own up to being seen???? did give a hello honk

hey all you adelaide members, get off your asses for a meet and greet cruise, maybe 5th of april at say, santos stadium, accross from mile end bunnings. whats say we meet up at 12, or later, whatever gets all of us there???, If someone else is willing to do a cruise map please do. I'm not all that keen and/or experienced in the matter!!! love to see us ALL there :cool:

all i can say is try and apply. currently my cars basic as, engine bay houses a 5K controlled by 4 on the floor. recently put in a diff out of an auto($150). picked up the mags for $200 without tyres off an old tarago, just got retreads to get me by!. had my muffler sitting gathering dust so got D+T to fit it as cheap as possible (2 inch from the resonator back) and the bodys pretty clean. I'm still paying off my 96 magna 5 speed that i put through a fence into a ford maverick 4WD without insurance :hmm: so untill thats payed off not much will change. I'm just trying my luck and if invited keeping the engine bay shut!!!!! :hmm: :cool:

and as for your tailshaft? didnt have to cut the diff width down then nah? axles hold up ok?

SANTOS STADIUM FOR SURE!!!!! tucked away nice and neat and central from everywhere.... i went from golden grove to hackam hungry jacks for a cruse and a MASSIVE turnout of one other corolla (blackrolla80) p.s. "car looks sweet so far" by the time i arrived, took me just over an hour. i was ready to head home again. and after one medium hills run, I DID! i wanna be able to survive the distance..... :hmm: :cool: :hmm: ;) :hmm: :yes: :yes: :yes: :yes: :yes: :yes:

so they should be. anyone with a personal loan can get a silvia or a skyline from their nearest car yard, but only someone with the love for a car will attempt to make an old car whoop their ass. give it 6 months to a year and ill be fuel injected c18 sr20 or rb26 turbo, painted red with mags just like my piccy, new shocks, springs, power steering, air sonditioning, bucket seats and roll cage, re trimmed, new carpet and ill take that over any one of there cars anyday..... I'm thinking ten grandish. EASY.

what do u do for a diff??? either sr20 or rb26'll end up in my 30!!!
