Puttin mine towards another corolla so I can take mine off the road for a re-build. Also my hilux should be gone by then so i'll have about 3 grand to spend on new corolla and rebuilding the other. -

When cruising at 100 in 4th gear my car does 3000 rpm. So yours should be something like that. -
pertty sure my boss had to do something similar to get to the air conditioning condenser in his AU falcon ute.

It's ok Lexxi, I got ya back :bash: It's hard to come across people my age who aren't into something that could seriously ruin their lives. I say good on ya Lexxi, don't worry about what anyone on here says, it's not like anyones life can be influenced by a screen with black letters on a white screen somehow put together to make some sort of sense.

If you're going to be respraying the car yourself, preparation is the key. The more work you put into preparing the car for paint, the better the paint job is going to be.

I'm guessin if it is possible that you would have to get an ae86 front end with the lights mechanism. That's to say that the both have the same chassis/mounting points.

I'll sort out the relay sometime soon and get a temperature sensor installed so it doesn't run too cool. Didn't have to cut away the radiator support panel at all. As it is such a large radiator there is no need. Air can still get too at least 3/4 of the radiator anyway.
-
Haven't got any pics of the wiring but it was fairly simple, pretty sure there was just an earth and then you just tap into a power source from the coil. So I have mine running non stop but will be putting in a sensor so it kicks in at a certain temperature.

Here's a pic of what the commodore radiator is like in mine.... And, the custom brackets that I made: Hope this gives you an idea of space and whatnot.

I think it's time for an update people. So this is what i've done over the last month or so... Commodore radiator running with custom brackets and camry thermo fan, definitely keeps it nice and cool. It fit in there like a charm, the only thing I had to remove from the engine bay was the triangular pieces that go from the chassis to the radiator support panel, no biggie. Looks nice and neat in there too . Also today I bought this from the wreckers for $50!! I havn't actually measured the diametre but I think it's a 2 inch system, maybe smaller. But for fifty bucks I aint complaining. Was a bitch to get out of the original car as i was by myself and had limited tools. Probably took me up to 2 hours lol. Then i tried to fit it into the 30 which was never going to happen, so some dude with a ute helped me out. Fitted it up in about 30 mins and it sounds awesome. Not too loud so won't attract attention but still has a good note to it. Anyway... Future plans still not sure, fixin up my hilux so I can sell it off then i'll get another rolla so I can take this one off the road and do rust repairs/respray. Enjoy!

cheers drc

They would definitely suit the car and the paint job. Go for it if you like it  What size you plannin on going?? Anything bigger than 15's is pretty shitty lookin imo.

My Xbox done did the same thing yo'll. But mind you microsoft were awesome to us. We sent it off, and two weeks later, new xbox!! The ones they send back are guarnenteed not to get the red ring of death apparently... -
Found the source of the rattle. I took it down to some mechanic friends of mine where i did work experience a year ago. Turns out it was the little U bracket that holds the exhaust to the gearbox had a nut missing. So whenever I would decelerate it would vibrate like crazy on the exhaust. Worst case scenario diverted :P Oh and when it was up on the hoist i decided to check everything else out. No sign of rust or any problems anywhere which makes me quite happy :P
