    Spotted

Spotted a blue two door ke10/11 with white venetians on states road this arvo at about 3:50. P plate driver. Can't believe it, it was in my neck of the woods!! I was sooo excited.
  4. Long time no see doug!! Nice to see that you're gettin that 5k together finally!! Can't wait to see it running.
  5. holy crap!! How freakin low do you want a corolla to be??
  6. I freakin love willow green. Best colour ever for an old corolla! Looks the best on the 20's i reckon, 10/11's are decent too. I don't think it really suits the ke30/55's tho.
  7. You could try a bonnet scoop
  8. Haha... best infomercial ever!!
  9. It kind of looks like a cross between a camry and a 350z. I like it and the fact they are actually makin a rwd car is great. 2012 aye?? Doubt I'll be able to afford one but oh well.
  10. You sure you can't get them from clark rubber? I got one from there. Took a bit to get it in place but it's in there fine now.
  11. *drool* That camaro is damn sexy... About a 68-9 model right?? Love it.
  12. Afraid I won't be makin it guys. Out of mula and low on petrol. Not a good combo for a cruise
  13. OMG!! Best comment ever!! ROFL!!
  14. I can vouch for the ones that have been well looked after. Engine-wise anyway. My dad had a VN (same motor as VR) and by the time he sold it it'd done 440,000 kms no worries. So yea if you're gonna look at one get service records and what-not. And if it looks like that the person who has owned it has thrashed it then walk away.
  15. This may sound like a stupid question but were you screwing them the right way?? Because sometimes it can be confusing if the screws are facing towards you. eg the ones at the back of a steering wheel.
  16. ahh ok I think I see it now, but in the faq it said that the ribs are "below the manifold side welsch plugs" but I guess who ever wrote that meant below the manifold but above the welsch plugs??
  17. I don't get it... Where's the ribs on springersrolla's block??
  18. Cheers for the info. Didn't think that the bodykit on the audi actually did anything, and still can't believe it actually effects the aerodynamics at all. Can I just say that the female driver in the first vid is farkin hot!! And too right the FD3S bodykit on the rx7's is pure sex :lolcry:. Gotta have the right set of wheels to really set it off though.
  19. But look at how badly its made, that's what I was getting at. Ricey cars are usually the ones that are a load of turd.
  20. Nah I don't wear a cup when welding. I just wear jeans now lol
  21. Case #1
  22. Mazeltof! Congratulations Luke, you'd be stoked with the wicked birthday present :lolcry:.
  23. ^^haha That reminds me of what happened to me once. My dad was teaching me how to weld and all I was wearing was bordies and a singlet top, well anyway, one of the sparks from the weld I was doing decided to land on my lap, burnt through my shorts, burnt through my underwear and burnt the tip of my knob. I dropped what I was doing and started jumping around frantically in pain, holding my crutch. Long story short, I don't wear boardies while welding now. :lolcry:
  24. From the sounds/looks of it you don't have the stronger 4k motor. As the ribs are supposed to be 'below' the welsh plugs and yours aint got none by the looks of it.
