As long as you are going with a k50 gearbox the clutch and flywheel are the same for both 4 and 5 speed. I'm not sure if you have to change it if you were to go with say a T50 gearbox...

JUD, of course posting is a priviledge and not a right. Just like having a drivers licence is a priviledge. If you're a dick on the road and do the wrong thing, you'll be punished. Just like on rollaclub, if you're a dick to other members or just here to start fights then you will be punished. Either a warning or a ban. How can you actually tell if you have a bigport head without having to remove the head itself from the engine?

That's exactly what my front brake pads were like. All of them relatively fine except for one. Which was rooted.

If you're looking for some old school wheels go to the Southern Mag & Tyre Centre in lonsdale. I havn't been there in a while but they do have some nice wheels there. Oh and it sounds like one of your calipers might be siezed. Put a caliper kit through both of them and see how you go :D

Being sick when I really need the money... Started to feel like I was coming down with something on Sunday, felt alright yesterday but still not the best. Then I woke up this morning and felt like shit. Too sick to go to work. And we are heaps busy at work at the moment and I really need the money. GRRRR

Why would you want hyundai rims on a corolla man? If you're gonna get wheels make sure they aren't front wheel drive offset and personally I think that wheels that fit the era of the car go wayy better than later model wheels :y:

Nice looking ke36 you got there Josh. Welcome to rollaclub. The place where engines are slow and rust is plentiful :wink:. This car is gonna be an awesome project for you over the next couple of years. There's alot you can do to a pano to make it pimpin. Just make sure you continuasly work on it because if you don't you'll lose interest. Trust me I know from experience.

Glad that the news of my 3k is getting around :cool:. I've heard from many people that my car is a freak of nature. I'm wondering if I have a bigport head but I don't think that there is any way to find out without rippin the head off. Oh and Lesley, I let you win :)

So I was driving home tonight and took a side street to avoid a main intersection when I noticed a dog walking the streets. There was no one around so I decided to pull over to see if it was ok. I walked over to it and it was the nicest dog ever. It was a beautiful Alaskan Malamute and it was HUGE. It didn't have a collar on it though. I stood there for a few seconds just looking around to see if there may have been a car around looking for it or something, but there was no one around. I started walking back to my car and it followed me so i opened the back door and it climbed in. Mind you this dog was so big that it could barely fit in the back of my rolla. I wasn't really sure what to do so I just called my dad and he said take it to the 24hr vet near our house which was about 15 kms away. So thats what I did and when i told the nurses at the vet they said that I did the right thing and they would check if the dog was micro-chipped or not. Luckily it was. I just got a phone call from them saying that they got in contact with the owner and they were coming to pick him up now. So a happy ending to that story, but I just can't believe that a beautiful, obviously looked after dog like an Alaskan Malamute wasn't wearing a collar. It would have killed me to hear that it had been hit by a car or something. That's my good deed for the year
