Sorry guys I won't be able to make it to this one... Got footy training tomorrow night. Gotta get ready for our first finals match. Hopefully next time though.

Personaly before you take it on a long journey i would replace all the hoses under the engine bay. Learnt my lesson when I was on my way up to Mannum and broke down in the middle of nowhere because my heater hose cracked and i lost all my coolant. Other than that, the good old k engine will never let you down, it's just the stuff attached to it that breaks ;)

I would have un-protected sex with this car if I had the chance to. When is it free? Can I have its number?? :P

On my way up to Mannum, the ke30 broke down. Turned out the heater hose cracked and spilled coolant onto the distributor- thus conking out the engine. So me and my mate were on this deserted road in the middle of nowhere kickin the footy til some guy who lived in the area helped us out. We fixed it with some plastic garden hose he had lying around. It only just got us to Mannum which was about 50kms away. Now that was fun.

There's a pretty beaten up ke25 on Glynburn Rd, near Kensington Gardens. Don't know if it's anyone on here's but if it isn't, someone should pick it up as a project :P

Funny you mention that Trev, I noticed it last time I went to Subway (I go pretty regularly also). They got a pretty neat lookin white ke30 being crushed by a car on top. How sad.

I think I might try and be there this time as I've got nothing on for once and I haven't seen you guys in a while :P

Spotted a granny spec bamboo coloured ke20 at Happy Valley oval today during my footy match. Don't know whether you saw it but mine was the mustard ke30 and my mates (RKE-020) was the lime ke20. Oh and I was playing in the back pocket and my mate was full back in case you were wondering :yes:

Awesome job mate! Would love to see how the paint job turned out in person. How did you get in all the nooks and cranny's with the roller?? I don't know if I would have the patience to be able to do something like that. I think I'd just go with a compressor. Enamel paint is quite difficult to get off once it's on isn't it?

Hey everyone. Got a little update for you guys. I'm doing the head gasket this arvo as my engine has been running like piss lately, using coolant and overheating. So I've got the head off, just waiting for Ryan to come around with the old torque wrench so we can get this new sucker on. But just wondering, How do you do the valve stem seals on these K motor heads? I figure its probably worth doing it now while the head is off. Oh and i'm also on the lookout for extractors so if anyone has got some for sale, I will gladly take them off your hands :rolla: Cheers Jason

Just got the new Eminem album that came out today, so that's what I'm hittin up in my car right now. I'm probably the only one here that actually likes him. But his new album isn't as good as his older stuff I don't reckon. Mind you he is gettin close to 40 yrs old I think :y:

Spotted Haydo's old ke20 down at Pedders Morphett Vale gettin some new suspension put in it. Apparently there is some demons lurking underneath or so i've heard.

Shotgun takin this thing for a skid Ryan! I'll contribute to this project as much as I can, I love my V8's as you already know :)
