Yea no probs man. Looks like I did everything right. Just checked the panel out this mornin and it's lookin sweet. Only very slightly tacky, can barely notice. Otherwise it's only got a little bit of dust in it.

And here's the finished result. Went out and bought Epotec Ceramic primer. Hopefully I've done it right, otherwise it won't cure. We'll have to wait and see I guess. Oh and PS. If you're going to be using this stuff I highly recomend using a spray booth as doing under a pergola with two large dogs running rampid it's kinda difficult.

Started stripping the front beaver panel this afternoon. Straight as a dime. Just had a bit of surface rust. Pretty much just attacked it with paint stripper and my trusty dewalt 4 inch grinder with the wire wheel attachment. Gotta love that thing :P. Will be buying primer tomorrow. With a few other paint supply bits and pieces. Gonna try and get one panel done per night. Considering I have a deadline now I've got to get crackin :y:.

I thin sometimes it comes down to the case that some people might have more money than sense :jamie:.

I think I was quite lucky getting my ke30 sixteen months ago for $500. That was with rego and I've now done over 30,000 kms in it. I went to look at another ke30 recently for $1000 and it was worse than my one!! I don't know what people expect to get for these beautiful machines but for an absolutely pristine one that has say, had a paint job recently and a 5k in it, I'd pay 3 grand for it, max! That's just my opinion though, some people would pay more, some would pay less.

I agree with 73KE20. I don't like to get underneath a car if it isn't held up by jack stands or car ramps. Not saying I haven't done it before but it's very stupid. But holding up a car with a spring is just plain idiocy.

Hmm... thanks for the offer Will. I might just take you up on it. Little update, my dad did some welding today on the inner guard at the rear. Tomorrow he'll be welding in the new patch. I'll post pics later on tonight.

I think the fact that it's a 2 door jacks the price up a bit too. I would say about $3000+. That's what I'd be willing to pay for it.

I've been thinkin over the past couple of days, what if I'm not happy with the engine I've got in this thing?? So I've been thinking maybe I might invest in an engine conversion. Not yet of course, I'll put around with the 4k for a little while. Any suggestions, other than 4age or a nissan engine?

Please do not paint the car in enamel. You'll regret it one day. Trust me on this one :). Go acrylic for sure :S. What colour are you planning on painting her??

In immaculate condition, pretty much brand spankin new for a meazley $500. Rear quarter is definitely being welded in this week sometime. Will take pics and show everyone. WGMG When you host a party for everyone to have a good time, drink and be merry. Then one paroletic bitch ruins it for everyone. Neighbours get angry because of all the commotion outside. Eggs get thrown at the neighbours house, neighbours get more angry. The only good thing to come out of it was that people had enough respect for me and my house to not absolutely trash it. Took less than an hour this morning to clean up. But for the guys who stole my fireworks that I was saving for New Years. This thing is looking awesome Luke! Really like the way you've colour coded the interior in this little weapon. I reckon if you were to get some black wantanabe's it would set this thing right off. With a few inches of lowering of course.
