My car got egged and the tyres let down last night while I was at a friends party. The place was directly across from my footy club so my car was parked right out the front, thinkin that it'd be safe there. And according to a couple of witnesses, the people who did it came out of the footy club. Just makes me very angry to think that it could be someone who I trust that did it.

Best bet would probably be using a ke55 square headlight grille and modifying that I think. Would look pretty good I reckon.

So his mum was having a heart attack and he decided it would be quicker to find someone who had money and fill up his 'tank', than if he was to just call an ambo?? Druggies these days aye?

Teddy must be an odd fellow ;) -
Just out of curiousity Troy... What the hell do you do for a job to afford all these damn nice cars?!?!

Holy Shiznizzle. That has got to be the most epic garage space ever. He's done such a good job. He must be a drug dealer or something to have all that stuff!

Spotted a brown ke55 being driven by a Sacred Heart girl with another girl in the passenger seat drive past the school. I was workin on the building that's goin up and saw them go past. She did a little skid turning out onto Brighton Rd. Was hilarious and I started cheering lol.

Jason KE30 replied to Raven's topic in Rollaclub Rides
Sounds great Mick! Rotor is definitely a smart move . And by smart I mean only geniuses can pull it off :). -
I had one of these a few years ago, 1989 Grand Prix edition. Bought it when I was 15 and sold 6 months later. Didn't even end up driving it. Yours looks pretty sweet tho :).

When I was only on my L's my parents and I went on a little trip to Victoria. At the time, Learners in South Australia could only do 80km/h. But over in Victoria, the limit was 100. It was great experience being able to drive 100km/h while everyone else I knew had only done 80. But now the SA laws have allowed Learners to do 100. Which is a great upgrade I reckon. I recommend to everyone while they are on their L's to go on a fairly long country drive with their parents as it's such a good learning experience. But I guess some Learner drivers would be more confident then others. I was quite a confident driver so I was fine.

Are you talking about the one with blue going down the sides of it. If so I see it a bit, this afternoon in fact. It's freakin pimpin. There was one of these for sale at UPI Lonsdale a couple of months back. Needed a full resto though. Lookin good Troy :D.

Yea cheers man, the non spray booth makes things a little difficult but it'll all be worth it in the end. I highly recommend using paint stripper, it makes life very easy. Protec paint stipper is quite a good one but there is still better out there. Don't buy K&H paint stripper, it's useless. Also go out and buy a 4inch wire wheel which attaches to your 4 inch grinder if you have one. They're about $15 from bunnings. After you attack the panel with both the stripper and the wire wheel, then sand it back with your orbital. You'll end up saving yourself alot of time.

So here's a pic of the boot lid I got off of Ryan. I'm glad I ended up using this one as it was pretty much straight as a dime. Progress is coming along quite well. But now that my footy training starts tomorrow night I won't be able to do as much as I have been. But still on track to getting this thing done by March 26th. Hope you guys like it. Cheers Jason

Nice lookin ke30 you got there. Very interesting, unique interior too. Not exactly my taste but hey whatever floats your boat . What paint did you throw on her?
-
And it looks like he doesn't have a full set of any of those wheels. But most of those wheels are pure sex though.
-
Yea but at the wreckers they're not called seat belts. They are called 'engine straps' lol.

You have way to much time on your hands Jon. Nice diagram though . I'll give it a B-

Chrome Air Vents For Ke30/55 Bonet
Jason KE30 replied to shauns ke30's topic in Automotive Discussion
I tried to find an early ke30 bonnet for ages. Ended up having to get a late ke30 bonnet instead. Those chrome vents look sooo sexy. -
That p-van is pimpin! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Gonna do anything engine-wise?

So yesterday I stripped the original boot lid down to bare metal, but the thing had imperfections everywhere. Couple of dents and high spots here and there. So I went out and got a perfectly straight one courtesy of Ryan. Unfortunately I ran out of paint stripper half way through so I'll have to carry on tomorrow. I also got the left hand guard down to bare metal. It has a very small amount of rust spots down the bottom of it but it'll be and easy fix. So tomorrow the plan is to get this bootlid in primer and the left hand guard welded. I'll also start stripping the right hand guard and see how far I can get with everything.
