I'm still yet to try a car that i like driving more than my 1978 ke30. Sure it's got a few rust holes here and there, and it's not the fastest car on the streets but it's just so damn awesome to drive and it has plenty of character. Probably the second best car that i've enjoyed driving is my work mates Subaru Liberty. The AWD model that you can change the ride height on. Damn that thing goes hard and f*#k me it's loud!

That's the thing though. Ryan's car doesn't stand out from the crowd and hasn't got any mods on it that he should have really gotten in trouble for. And as far as I know he was defected on private property. I'm pretty sure that's not legal. Surely the cop could've seen that Ryan was a nice kid and needs his car for work to be able to maybe give him a couple of little defects??

Holy shit! As if a cop can do that! That's totally messed up aye. Kinda weird too because there was a cop car in my street earlier on today. Kinda gave me a weird look when i drove past him. I think you should just find yourself another clean ke30 dude. Get rid of it, i think it's caused you enough trouble as it is.

I dropped out of school half way through year 11. Not because I couldn't be f@$ked with school. It's because I got a head injury from football and missed out on alot of schoolwork and couldn't catch up. So now I'm workin full time and I've applied for an apprenticeship as a Vehicle Mechanic through the defence force. If that works out I'll be set for life. Droppin out isn't the worst possible thing you can do. The worst thing is to drop out and not do anything at all. My boss and I were having this discussion today at work. He thinks that if you can pass year 10 but all you want to do is get into a trade then there's not much point in finishing year 12. But if you want to become a lawyer or a doctor or something you have to go to uni which means you should finish year 12.

Spotted a green ke20, lowered with venetians at the servo at woodcroft shops this morning at about 6:20. Looked pretty nice.

Spotted a lowered ke70 on the road between belair and old belair road, can't remember what it's called. Gave me the wave. Also spotted an orange ke20 outside boostworx this arvo. Nickyboy maybe??

When I put my commo radiator into my ke30 i had to find an adaptor somewhere. Turns out Autopro at Reynella had a basketfull of little adaptors that was exactly right for the job I needed. I asked where they got there supply from and it's a place in Edwardstown. I can't remember the name of it but I remember where it is.

That two tone white on brown ke30 is my grandads neighbours car. Supposed to be my next ke30 but meh. She's 88 years old and has had it since new. I hope i can still drive manual when i'm 88 yrs old and going senile :P

I just checked my manifold Tume, and mine doesn't have a bolt there either. Can't seem to figure out why... Either thats one of the k engines weak spots or Toyota got really lazy.

The worst thing that happened to us when we were doin SLO-030's 5 speed is that he un-knowingly put the clutch in around the wrong way lol. So we had to take the 5 speed back out and flip it around. Was quite funny now that we look back :jamie:

Someone on here might have one for sale if you checke the parts for sale area. If not just got down to your local toyota or pickapart wreckers to get one. I'm sure they wouldn't charge more than $30 as thats all they are really worth.
