  1. Buying the car in the 1st place was inspired by a guy in america called tom carter, he has a website about corollas and other things but it was his silver SR5 that did it for me. http://www.bigflea.com/corolla/ might even see Raven's green ke25 there.
  2. did a search on the whole publica thing turns out it was a small car range from toyota just google "publica toyota"
  3. isnt a TE27 a levin or tureno only ? with the 2TG ? and a TE25 is a 2T ? I'm probably very wrong. hrmm yeh i think I'm wrong lol
  4. this looks strange it has ke20 1/4 glass and front indicators but the ass looks like a datsun 1000 and the grille looks like a 120Y
  5. Thankyou Well many years ago i once cruised this beast but i have another project and no shed so i may be in the maket to sell. Ive had plenty of intrest but ive been the one not budging until now. I have 2x 3k engines in peices 1 with new pistons and 1 recon head. Also carby's radaitors and a ke20 RHF door and numerous lights mirrors ect. Its all just sitting as is my KE25. What should i do, a few friends have told me i may regret it just like when my friend sold his RX3 in 1997 and the guy wrote it off.

  8. I'm glad ive found a topic that gets everyones brains going, nice to see some smart people out there. so far from what i under stand in the plans ive read its a certain amperage and with plate design and material used its as efficent as it can be without spending thousands of dollars its also only supposed to be a hybrid setup to supplement the fuel thats already being used thus changing the way the engine runs to use as little fossil fuel as possible. it has been explained to be only a 20% saving on fossil fuels. roughly
  9. i rebuilt my calipers on my ke30, very easy to do and then when i stripped the ke30 i put them on the ke25 using the ke30 pads but retaining the ke25 discs sorted the pulling problem
  10. haha bomb yeah i know what ya mean ill try and be careful read about some guy in america testing the kit with a match LOL! blew it outa his hand but no injuries
  11. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Hydrogen-Ge...sspagenameZWDVW just google hydrogen kits and its was on one of the ACA or Today tonight shows some mechanics and an engineer got one to work apprently its a container with a plate in it which has current going throught it while emersed in water which gives off gas and feeds into the intake duct of an efi car is my basic understanding
  12. as the topic says. I'm interested in the whole saving money on fuel a guy at work has some kinda designs on how to do it which ill be getting a copy of anyone messed around with this yet ?

  15. I agree, i ran a workshop for a fleet company seen alot of damages like this. Id say 600 roughly to straighten and paint in primer, the panel shop will probably recomend painting the whole car due to the condition which will be something else ull need to consider espcially being old. May have hidden rust and some more dents that require attention Then you may need to go down the track of getting new windscreen rubbers or even a whole rubber kit haha where does it end
  16. no worries ill keep an eye on my translation so cheers for the info but who have people used ? eg wreckers ect
  17. so far my 4age 16v 100kw conversion is going to cost me about 2k if i just want the engine will loom from the local import wreckers didnt think these were hard to find or too expensive

  21. pretty good topic I'm having trouble with my ae71 where my rh nee hits the steering wheel if i try to heel n toe need smaller steering wheel ? seat closer to floor pan ? does an AE86 seat sit closer to the floor ?
  22. question ive noticed XT130 stuts will still have either 0 camber or positive when fitted with XT130 arms, so will all the comparisons againts AE86,RA60,XT130 king pin inclination what are the same or different ive been told RA60 is massive positive camber but are these the same as the XT130's ? Is there camber problems with ae86 struts fittted to standard ke70 arms or will XT130 arms bring it to zero or negative ?
  23. anything worth salvaging ? are the mags stuffed ?
