ill be choosing rims soon and so far ive seen 0 offset is pretty close to the stut tube depending on how wide the rim keeps increasing. And yes when a tyre suited to a 7-8 inch wide 0 offset rim will sit closer to the strut than the rim. Maybe a 7 inch rim with 0 off set or a negative off set to pull the rim rolling edge away from any suspension components? most tyre shops will jack up your car and trial fit a generic size <if your serious> and inspect all the charts relating to your car

Hey, Ill be looking at getting some new rims for my car soon and I'm looking at somthing with grip and a low profile to suit 6-8 inch wide rim The car will be used for daily at 1st with some hills driving and the odd amature track day What are you guys running or have had experience with, no need to show results in the same format like i have just thought id throws this up Brand eg toyo Model eg Proxes T1-S or T1-R Size eg 205/50 R15 Results eg Great grip through hills ect Cost if easily rembered or available Any experience would be greatly appreciated. Plenty of celicas at the wreckers here and there, just use the drive line and bit outta one of them or even a 3T from a T-18. If its an engine swap the 1st thing usally to tacle is the engine mounts and gear box mounts easy. no conversion is without mods, but corollas are the easiest starting point
