The visor just clips onto the gutters and has 2 grub bolt type things on each side. I was so sceptical of mine on its maiden voyage but it held on the whole time I owned it.

I don't think that the brand of suspension is the major issue. I think that correct spring rates and damper choice for your specific application would be more important. Also more power means better/bigger brakes so going to ae86 or s13 front end would be a must. Suspension parts for either are way more available than anything ke70 specific.

Go for it man. A guy I know had flappers on his orange ke25 and it looked awesome.

South Australias road laws are stupid. I can't drive my regency approved 4age ke70 on my p's because the government classes it as I high powered vehicle. But I can jump in a brand new sv6 commodore or a subaru forester (because its turbo is for fuel efficiency). I guess if we want to play we have to play by their rules :(

Grab a tape measure and head to your local wrecker. Find out if they will fit. Then talk to your local traffic authority about the legal side of it :)

When I had my ke20 all I wanted was some old crown hub caps. I can't remember if they are 14's or 15's. As for bigger steelies, you will probably have to get some redrilled to suit the stud pattern.

Well with my ke20 i have a registered 5k. When ke20's came out you could get the 1600 version. so that means u can put any thing upto 1600 cc in with out an inspection. All i had to do was fill out a little form when i payed my rego. Cheers Harley

Stock carb went back on today. Timing adjusted slighly by hand and cleaned the plugs. Runs ok now. It will be getting service and tune this week and hopefully all will be ok. Cheers for the help. Harley

I did have a quick look at the fuel filter but i will give it a go with out. Float level in the carby is exactly how it should be. If that doesnt work the stock carb is going back on and i will get a rebuild kit for the gemini carb. Any thing i have over looked so far? Cheers Harley

I have a 5k with a Gemini 1600 Niki carb and extractors and 2 inch exhaust. The engine has been in and running for about 4 months. 3 months with the Gemini carb. Today it shit itself. It will idle but as soon as u press the accelerator it just dies, then idles again. If u hold the accelerator down it will fire, then a second will pass, and it will fire again. RAA man said it could be blocked jets but I was sitting at the traffic lights when this happened. I thought it might have some thing to do with my timing or vac advance but I'm not to sure. The gemi carb is coming off in the morning and the stock-o carb is going back on to see if it was the carby (blocked jets). Any ideas??? Cheers Harley

G day, Today i got all the parts to perfrom a nikki carb swap on my 5k. Any tips on tuning these carbs. Ive searched this site and the net and it seems pretty hard to get any good information. Plus ive been overloaded with gemini pictures. Cheers

I am big on toyotas but havent owned anything else (keep in mind I'm not even 17 yet) but I'm a fan of most japanese cars. especialy 60's and 70's japanese cars. like my toyotas but nissans are still cool. we don't want to sound like ford v holden bogans at the local centerlink do we? laters
