TOMMYS Ke 11

Hey guys been a while since I have been on just had the engine freshened up after doing a $2.50 welshplug.... Had it ran back in on the dyno today and got 90hp out of her still little room for more after a little more running in.

hi fellers Stuart here just wanted to say thanks for a great day out, sorry we didn't spend much time with you guys but with all that old school metal around i just got lost with it all. hope we get the chance to go on another cruise with you guys in the future with a few more ROLLA'S on the road. Thomas little beast didn't miss a beat all the way but he gunner have to get some tunes happening inside the cab though by for till the next time.

hi there Rolou; Stuart here just wanted to say thanks for not just brand name but also part number that will make life a lot easier wish i had posted earlier would have saved me a lot of time on the bloody computer over the weekend. just another question i noticed the ke11 does not have bleed screws on both sides of the diff any reason for this as i feel this has got to make it hard to get all the air out of the lines.

hi there rolla fans Thomas dad here; i hope I'm in the right area to ask but we are having trouble getting rear wheel brake cylinders and hoping that one of you great members might be able to help; thank Stuart.

hi guys Thomas dad here again just wondering if any one knows where we can get new 11/16 asco rear brake cylinders from or is there an alternative cylinder we can use thanks fellers any help/information would be great thanks. by the way my name is Stuart. looking at maybe doing a diff upgrade at some stage soon have a celica ta22 diff in the shed that i might fit up with disc brakes but in the meantime need to fix badly failing back brakes.

hi chobis; Thomas dad here again thank for the jester but i really do just enjoy playing around with old cars; just finished a full rotisserie ground up rebuild on my mates eh Holden Ute (factory auto; very rare) came up real smick ill get Thomas to put up a photo of it; tell me what you think. but the next project the ke25 will be one to follow have quite a few different ideas for it but you will have to wait to see and follow the thread.

hi rolla fans Thomas dad here just wont to say thanks for your comments and although i don't drink beer i don't mind the odd drop of johnny walker but as Thomas said i do it because i enjoy it and are getting ready to start the next project ke25 coup for my other son Brent. when we get started he will have to start a thread of his own but be sure this one will be different and worth following. as for Thomas ke11 still a few things to go ;deck out the boot with speakers and put in a wicked sound system so he can listen to the tunes he plays when DJ,s although the induction sound from the quad carbies is already wicked.and we really need to dump it done a couple of inch's.well i better get of his site before he catch's me and has a growl so by for now and thanks.

hey all haven't posted in a very long time and i thought now would be a good time as dad has spent some endless hours making my rolla all nice and fresh again.... It has been fully stripped and rubbed back the small surface rust areas have been cut out and repaired a few minor dents have been repaired and the major one in the rear where mates gf stuffed it has been fixed up....my gear box had shit itself and required a rebuild so that has also been done. The dash has been recovered with marine vinyl by dad and it has come up a million bucks. there was a few troubles with the paint jod as it was dads first time doing it but he stuck to it and with hours of rubbing back and trying again with a good cut and polish she has come up amazing... can't thank the old manm enough for the work he has done here are some pics enjoy...

Hi josh tommys dad here this is my first time on thomas page but just wanted to say thank you all for your great comments and help you have all given us through out the build.As you may have read thomas is in America and will be home this friday we can't wait to see him. While Thomas has been away i gave his little rolla a couple of runs from home (Swan Hill) to Melbourne and back around a 700km trip so just to answer an earlier question as to what sort of fuel economy we get from the quad carby set up it averaged 36.6 MILES PER GALLON not bad for a fairly worked little motor.As for respray i made the mistake of not fish oiling the insides of all the panels and have a couple of small rust spots showing so we will cut them out and still need to repair rear end where the sheila put the dent in it so just as eazy to strip and paint the hole car.

Hey ther guys havent posted for a while I'm actually living in the USA atm and the lil rolla is stuck back in Aus with Dad looking after her will be home next week for a month so will get stuck back into her shes getting a full new respray to freshen up a few stone chips and the ding in the back. Still havent gotton a grip of the whole steering wheel on the wrong side of the car thing they do over here def can't wait to get therolla out for a spin..

Hey there Philbey the dyno that we had it tested on was an old style one that doesnt do print outs but he said its roughly about 75 rwhp or there abouts very responsive though with the carby set up and the induction noise is pretty sick

Thanks mate Left me car home with dad for the day so he hooked up me choke cos she was'nt likeing to start in the cold mornings and then he took it to take a few photos and done a good job they look sweet.

Hey guys just a few new photos off me lil beast since the windows have been tinted and the new wheels and tyres have been put on i have the chrome dress ring to also go on but not sure if they look better on or off. Had to change me exhaust thanks to police man reporting me to the EPA electronic fuel pump now makes more noise then me car. And also the pic of the hotwire with centre cap off 82 model nissian skyline for seabiscuit. Dad said sorry for waking you up this morning.

Hey guys havent been on for a while not much has changed with me car except had the windows tinted to 5% last week and she had a servise today new oil ect. currentlt in the process of having 13 inch stockies painted black then will be fitted with white walls and chrome dress rings caps and nutts. PS does any one have a passanger side tail light thats in good nick that they want to sell as mine is fadded and looks shit!

Nah sorry i mean the engine is stamped as a 3k0 i didnt mean the engine number.
