hey guys here are some photos that were taken a few weeks back there is a lot more progress then this but i thought id see how many pics i can get up enjoy Dad is doing an awesome job kinda got the whole rebuilding ke11's down pat now :)

Hi Jordain, Stuart here if you look at thomas thread you will see how i set his quad carbys up we have puchased another set for the new motor induction sounds so sweeeeet good luck with your build. Cheers Stuart.

Hi all havent been on for while so i will bring you up to date, I have finished the disce brake rear end i used rmr30 skyline rotors & calipers and with a slight modification was able to use the original hand brake cable configuration, we have fitted Otomoto adjustable coil overs and castor tops. I have also modified the front cross member & wishbones for more adjustment(pictures coming soon)also new whiteline 22mm swaybar and nolethene rear leaf bushes,1inch lowering blocks for the rear,Stu from Kickn5K has been a great help in setting us with all rebuild kit to build the new 4k/5k configuration motor we are going to build (thanks heaps Stu)Body is all preped and ready for yet another fresh coat of TNT orange. Have ordered all auto meter guages from the states (cheaper than local)Thomas has got all his sound system worked out and last but not least we will look into a full under bonet FIRE EXTINGUISHER not going down this road again.As i said photos coming soon as i will have to get Thomas to down load them for me,all going well back on road in 2 weeks. Thanks Stuart. Does anybody know what size wheel ofset will fit the ke11 looking at 15 by 7inch rims????? Cheers

Hi there everyone thanks for all your replies i knew if i asked the question i would get the answer as i wasnt to sure although after pulling Thomas little ROLLA apart and putting back together so many times there is not to much i don't know about his car now anyway thanks again and by for now. Hi all Stuart here Thomas dad , I was ratting parts of our donor car today and noticed it had a factory fitted double front transverse spring and was just wondering if this is standard on the ke10 as Thomas ke11 only had a single leaf or is it possible it may be a Bill Buckle special modification?????. I have removed it from the car, i will get Thomas to put pictures up when he gets home. Thanks Stuart.

Hi there Jordain thanks for your reply just wondering do they have the thread in them to put the retainer bolts in or have you another idea for that and do you remember what year camry they were from, also how the bloody hell do you get the bast--ds out HaHa. Thanks Stuart.

Hi everyone just wondering if any one makes neaprean bushes to replace the old rubbers on the KE11 wish bone pivots as we have dropped the cross member out and replaced all the tie rod ends and would like to replace these at the same time any info would be great. Thanks, Stuart.

Rollmaster Double Row Timing Chain Kits

Hi there Jono not long fitted one to Thomas 4k and we used same guide and tensioner providing you already have double row timing chain it will be fine and as Stu said befor me not that dear to by new. Cheers, Stuart. -

Hi there rolla fans Thomas dad here again (Stuart) just found new ones on ebay in Thialand but they are a 45 day wait i was just wondering if anyone know of some where in AUS that may stock them and are they a good fit thanks Stuart.

Thanks Stu have dropped head into mechanic to cc it for me, he has looked at it and reacons he will do a little more work on it around the valves in the compression chamber as we are now going with the 5K block he is a pretty switched on mechanic who looks after 15+ off road buggys pushing out some big numbers as well as a number of speedway cars he has his own dyno. He was looking at our cam specs after we run the last motor in on the dyno and feels that we may need to up the compression a little to get the best out of the cam grind we have if you like i can fax you a copy of our specs for you to have a look at thanks Stuart.

Thanks every one for your replys not realy woried if it is not TRD Model as we are mainly getting it for parts and arnt paying a lot for it I'm just hoping it has s good bonnet so once again thank you all Stuart.

Hi there all just thought id bring you up to date where we are at with Thomas little rolla we have stripped the motor down and have decided to go 5K block with his 4K bottom end(nite-rided crank) and his 4K head with another set of kawasaki 900 quad carbys. Have already stripped the front of the body had it sand blasted and got it etch primed, rubbed back the rest of the body ready to paint the whole car AGAIN just hopeing the bonnet on the doner car is OK ill have to get Thomas to put some pictures up as that is out of my limits on these bloody computer things HAHA I'm the old fellar still learning we will keep you updated Stuart.

Thanks 67Rolla-Ken do you know if there were many of these built as the owner is telling us they are pretty rare. We are picking it up to use as a doner car for Thomas KE11 which caught fire and don't want to wreck if may be worth something thanks Stuart.

Hi every one Stuart here just wondering if any one has herd of this. The reason being? we are picking up a KE10 on the weekend and have been told it is one of the first factory TRD Model fitted with a limited slip diff and front disc brakes.Any further information would be great thanks Stuart.

Hi there Stu look forward to hearing from you have read your thread many times as i bet every other member has it is a great read, it is members such as yourself /taz-rx and of course OKE-20 that keep inspiring others to acheive better things for there own build. Any way one of my parts suppliers just rang and said he could get a set of round top shallow dish pistons(3mm dish) is this what they call the flat top pistons for the 5K or is there a proper flat top piston i should still be trying to get any info much appreciated thanks Stuart.

hi every one i know this topic has already been covered but i have been trying to find where i can get hold of a set (20thou/40thou) over size to get Thomas little rolla up and going with a bit more torque after his engine fire.Any help would be much appreciated (brand/price/LOCATION)Thomas dad Stuart can call me on 0428 574248.

hi there rolla fans Thomas dad here just letting you know we already have the rolla at home and although the insurance wrote it of it was only on what they describe as a minor defect so we can rebuild & reregister same body so as said earlier version 3 will only be a hell of a lot tougher and better. So we will be looking for a good straight bonnet if any one can help please give me a call (Stuart) on 0428 574248 after hours it would be much appresiated. And yes we will probaly stay with the 4k build or maybe go 5k bottom end if i can get some flat top piston? any help in that direction would be great as we have three 5k engines to play with. Have been looking but with no luck yet every one seems to have the deap dish pistons.So by for now and we will keep you updated.Sorry was asked what may have caused the fire ; not real shure but at a guess i reacon it may have picked up a bit of shit in the fuel line and blocked one of the carby floats causing it to flood up and backfire through it igniting in a ball of fire(as i said only guessing)

hi there Ken Thomas dad here (Stuart) car was looking good and with a little more to get out the engine was running real sweet just hoping insurance don't wright it of and as you say version 3 will be better already started planing what we change. Any way about the dash what i did was cut all the cracks right out deap then filled with body filler sanded all back smooth then went to my mates joinery shop and used his laminex glue spray gun and using the aid of a heat gun stretched marine grade vynil over it as you can see by the photos it came up great, i hope this is of some help to you or if you would like to call me feel free to do so on 0428 574248.

HI THERE ALL THOMAS DAD HERE TODAY WAS NOT A GOOD DAY AS THOMAS LITTLE ROLLAR HAD AN ENGINE FIRE (THOMAS WILL POST PHOTOS). MELTED CARBYS,ELECTRONIC DISSY,BATTERY ALL UNDER BONNET WIRING, ENGINE BAY BONNET AND GUARDS ALL BURNT.THANKFULLY HAVE FULL INSURANCE AND WE WILL GO ABOUT IT ALL AGAIN.WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR A NEW BONNET IF ANY ONE HAS ONE LYING AROUND WE WILL BE INTERESTED.JUST A LITTLE BIT PISSED OF AS I ONLY NOT LONG FULLY REPAINTED IT FOR HIM AND ONLY HAD THE NEW MOTOR IN FOR THREE WEEKS AND WAS RUNNING REAL SWEET GOT 91.7 RWHP ON THE DYNO WHERE WE RUN THE MOTOR IN AND HAVENT PLAYED WITH THE TUNE YET,OUR MECHANIC REACONS HE MAY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO GET A BIT MORE OUT IT SO NOW WE WILL HAVE TO DO IT ALL AGAIN WE WILL KEEP YOU ALL INFORMED AS LONG AS THE INSURANCE COMPANY don't WRIGHT IT OF IF NOT WE WILL BE BACK EVEN BETTER SO BY FOR NOW.
